Description

✭Requires Tasker or Locale to function✭

Ever wanted to control your Philips Hue Lights without reaching for a remote? Have the lights turn on automatically as soon as you enter your home? Or have the lights blink when you receive a new notification?
Well now you can do all of this with and much more with AutoHue!

AutoHue let’s you program your Hue & LIFX Light Bulbs to react to anything that Tasker supports!

Autohue supports many actions, including:

💡 Power
💡 Color
💡 Brightness
💡 Alerts (blink)
💡 Color Loop
💡 Custom JSON

Note for Hue users: for Hue lights the app only works on your local (WIFI) network, this is currently the case due to a restriction in the Hue API.

In addition to sending commands you can also retrieve the state of the light bulbs or hue bridge. Use this to create even more powerful actions!

Next to Hue and LIFX this plugin should support any light bulb that is connected to a Philips Hue bridge (e.g. Osram & Ikea Trådfri). Feel free to contact me if you run into issues with these bulbs, as they are currently not officially supported.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Great extension. Wish it had control of "on power failure".
5 ★I'm getting a notification that it might not work with my version of android. Version 14 on One UI 6. Hopefully it will be updated soon or I just don't know what I'm doing. Works great normally.
1 ★Cannot connect to the bridge
5 ★So good! I just made the mimicking Sunset routine I've always wanted to turn off the lights (5) in my room through several different color and brightness changes over time. Notes though: 1) use Task - wait to add wait commands between light changes. 2) it works about 99% with ANY non-Hue Zigbee bulbs also. The 1‰ is that "transitiontime" doesn't work with them. You can get around this by adding actions that change the lights overtime though.
5 ★Works perfectly
5 ★Exactly what I needed! Working perfectly. Lights blink green when I get a text now.
3 ★Constant issues with errors. needs update. not enough reliability or options
5 ★No issue found Stable, strong
1 ★I didn't find any option on the website to get in touch nor in the app. But AutoHue freezes very often when executed, it's completely random, sometimes it takes 30s to go back, or just crash the app.. And in the mean time the execution keeps hanged, like blink the light and it doesn't turn it off, or setting up to change colors and increase brightness and it executes one and freezes for a while and continue the process. I tried everything, even simple command keeps freezing. I'm upset =/
5 ★Works wonderfully on the Pixel 3XL, Android 11! The tutorials on YouTube are very helpful. Super impressed!
