GPS Test Plus has five screens full of information: -
1) GPS signal (SNR) bar chart, showing the signal strength for each satellite, as well as the accuracy and status of the GPS.
2) Satellite positions in the sky (skyview), shown on a rotating compass.
3) Your current location on the earth shown as text and on a world map. The current position of the sun and the day/night transition curve is also shown.
4) Compass or Navigation tool.
5) Fully configurable dashboard view, shows current speed, heading, altitude and other fields as text or as dials.
6) The current time read from the GPS and the local time in your current timezone, as well as the sunrise and sunset times at your location.
Useful for navigation or geocaching.

5 ★This is a clean, intuitive application that I use for precision timing and location off grid. Only request would be to add grid square (for Ham Radio use) and allow for customizable time zone clocks (world clock display). Really happy with this app!! Thanks!!
4 ★I'm a user of the paid app. Excellent GPS app. Love the functional simplicity of the UI. Would have given 5 stars if it only had a trip odometer. That's the only feature lacking that would perfect it - in my opinion.
5 ★I have used this for a number of years, and really like it. The compass feature is very good. Plus, you can save a GPS location, then navigate your way back to it. Pretty cool. I often turn it on when flying at 35,000 feet just to see how fast we're going.

5 ★Tried the free version for a while before buying, and I don't regret I did. So much more. Please allow for saved waypoint/location update of coordinates with current. Couldn't figure out how to do it.
2 ★Multiple times now I've saved a location WHILE I have a gps lock. Later when I try to navigate to it, it tells me I'm 8000 miles away. Dangerously unreliable, wasted money on the paid features. The free features work fine.

4 ★Awesome app in every way. If only it had an odometer function (number of kms/miles traveled, reset to 0 when starting a new trip). With an odometer function, it would be the ultimate GPS app.
4 ★Please developers, do whatever in your capacity to add coordinate conversions for UTM - Degree Minute Seconds or UTM - Decimal degrees. In my GPS Test Plus version i face difficulties on entering new waypoint since this app does not accept UTM COORDINATES unless I convert them on other app.
5 ★Excellent app rpwinkc clear and update GPS settings. Also allows the user to see all apps that have requested GPS access ap you can clear individual app caches or uninstall apps. Hopefully this app will clear up issues on Samsung Galaxy S8 plus.
3 ★Needs updates for Geocaching Distance should stay in meters till it reaches 1 km. Location lat long format should match display format so you can set and input in dd mm.mmm format. Other than that nice features.
2 ★heading clunk and gets stuck, compared to free one that seems to work fine. entering locations would be nice to select from a map. no refund allowed
