2 ★It's official - I bought a license on the contingency (confirmed from the developer via email) of a "major CT 6.0 that is coming soon." A couple years later and, nothing. How do I get my money back? I have to wave off potential buyers. I'm guessing the project has been abandoned.
2 ★It's a good user interface. However, I just spent 2 hours creating a drawing which automatically saved itself and when it did that the file became corrupted and can't export it in any format. I believe it became corrupted when I decided to try one of the pre-made blocks. At the end of the day I can't use a program that might fail, I can get over the desktop CAD issues because I have infinite ways to fix it once it crashes ect. but this program is to lite in features to find work arounds, which is unfortunate because I really liked the app and the idea of being mobile with it.
2 ★Ok but no support. Hard to get to grips with and very flaky with an S pen. Quite slow but they do warn you to stopball other apps to save RAM. I could get to like it but so many issues. I wanted to simply import a jpeg, and I cannot get the image to show, but there is no support! Frankly, a waste of money.
5 ★The more I learn to do things on Cad Pro the more I like it. As a designer, imagine when you are able to open the tab and tap to save your bright idea which would have been lost if not. Versatile and capable CAD program. Simply love it.
1 ★Could be alot better, using a note 3 and its just too finicky. Check out force effect the drawing function is fantastic
5 ★This is a great app to do blue prints, but i have had problems with printing and transfering it to other devices. i would appreciate if there was a way to print in scale and to set to print with standard paper sizes. other than that its a great app, easy to use and learn.
5 ★Hands down my favorite CAD App out there. The only thing I could suggest is a way of choosing how many decimals units, I font have need of 4, perhaps there is already a way to change that; and some kind of sensitivity adjustement as I have naturally shaky hands so for me it can take a few tries just to get a straight line.
1 ★This app is beyond frustrating. It's so close to being useful and yet so far from being usable. I'm using it on A Galaxy Note 9, with the S pen; which should be great but instead it's just one unintentional command after another. It's extremely difficult to pan and zoom while you're trying to draw a line. Extremely difficult to select a point of its close to another point. Extremely frustrating trying to call out dimensions. The command flow is 100%counter intuitive and to top it all off there's not a decent tutorial anywhere. I'm so angry, my hands are shaking.
3 ★Decent little CAD program for my tablet that I can do a quick room sketch for doing a quote to then hand off to my electricians for an installation/renovation at a later date. Good features are layers for room layout, dimensioning, electrical, mechanical. Problems include multiple objects get created when you try to move or copy. I've deleted as many as 10 objects layered on top of each other following a few object moves. Similarly, when I'm trying to move. Another problem is objects disappear when you zoom in or out, resolution improvement is necessary. Arcs, circles, angles and objects I group don't seem to work properly especially when trying to copy. If these are improved I would give 5 stars.
5 ★I have used Cad in it's many guises for over 25 years and must say this is very good value for money. The input can be a bit quirky but once you get used to the touch screen concepts it is excellent. There is plenty of room for for further improvements which I have no doubt will follow in due course Well Done.
3 ★Work-around actually. Basically, don't leave any unnamed object groups (Blocks) in any drawing. After creating a group, make sure it is selected. Then tap the "Object Tool" (lower left "chair" icon), select a folder/library destination, and then Tap "+" ("Add selected entities to the library") and give this grouped object a unique name ("Library object name"). Back in the drawing, the original object will now be ungrouped. Delete these and insert the newly created named object from the library by again tapping the "Object Tool," find the object and simply tap it. It will now appear in the drawing as a group object (Block). Since it came from a named object in the library, it is now safe and you can leave it grouped. That's it. Unnamed groups disappear and corrupt other groups, even in other drawings. Make sure none of your drawings have unnamed object groups in them. You'll still have to deal with the confusion created by the appearance of multiple copies of objects showing up because of the "Copy/Move" tool getting stuck in the "Copy" mode. Don't understand how the devs can let these very disruptive bugs go unaddressed for months in a product that has so much potential.
2 ★When it's working properly it's the best thing since sliced bread, but most of the time it glitches and some times even deletes large parts of your project. Most infuriating . Since latest update app is now unusable.
