A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

4 ★Needs more purple shades. I'm trying to draw purple hair but the lack of purples makes it hard. There are maybe 2-3 real purple shades and maybe 27 oranges. I mean who needs that much more orange versus that little purple. The point is we need more purple. But over all a good app for what it's meant to be. Concepts, ideas, that sort of thing. Not for some full on colorful masterpiece. But despite the lack of purple, I'm making it work, so yes it is a good app.
2 ★Great app, limited by purchase. 4.99 a month is ridiculous. .99 a month would be understandable. All the good stuff is hidden behind the paywall. Otherwise a great app. Edit: you'd make more money if dropped the price. People would be able to afford it. $4.99 a month is ridiculous. That's the price you should pay for a one time full access, not a month. I'd rather have ads for this price. I mean, you don't even offer a trial to see if the full features are worth it. You can't even move anything
5 ★Amazing app, I got it on my ipad and it worked really well! So I decided to get it on andriod. The limited colors aren't a problem for me since I don't really like coloring, I just sketch most of the time. The layers are a bit confusing for me but I figured it out pretty quickly.the infinite canvas is really nice I can keep drawing and drawing. Personally this is an excellent app!!
3 ★I really like this app. I even bought the pro level on my surface pro. Only I discovered what I thought I could do was only if I owned an Apple device. The lack of a shapes library and text/fonts library is very disappointing. Because I find Concepts very easy to draw with. But I find I have to use Onenote to do much of my design work because of those two things. If Onenote's workspace rotated and and had a good Copic color pallet, I'd probably give up on Concepts.
3 ★Could easily rival sketchbook if line and ellipse guides were free. I appreciate that it's such a well made app, but it's ridiculous to put making a straight line or a circle, pretty basic sketching tools, behind a paywall. At a glance this is easier to use than sketchbook's mobile app, and feels otherwise pretty intuitive. If "3/4 of the app" doesn't even offer basic composition tools, I'm leary to even buy a little $5 upgrade to unlock... most of the rest? Worth trying, idk about buying it.
4 ★I love the color wheel. Matching them to Copic colors was a nice touch. The one feature that's missing that keeps this from 5 stars, is being able to measure and dimension. I draw furniture and woodworking projects and being able to scale, measure, and dimension drawings is holding me back from fully loving this. Otherwise, definitely one of the more polished apps.
3 ★There are plenty of art applications out there that are free. For absolutely everything you have to pay 9.99 for a set that in itself is not that bad but then you have to pay additional 4.99 MONTHLY if you want the essential pack and other things. 30.00$ a year for brushes that are most definitely free on other apps. I would understand if there was somthing new and interesting about this art app,but no there is nothing new or interesting they bring to the table.
3 ★So glad this is finally on Android! My favorite drawing app hands down, haven't stopped using it since I found it. However, there are some pretty annoying bugs/nits. Right now my biggest peeve is sometimes when im trying to spin the tool wheel, the stroke size gets automatically selected. Even though those two actions arent even remotely close to each other! And it will get stuck that way! Ive had to close out of my drawing just to get the wheel to behave correctly. Plz fix this!
5 ★Absolutely love this for quick sketching and planning. Illustrating ideas or a concept is so much easier with a visual aid and Concepts offers so many Avenues to get you there. INTUITIVELY. Love it so much that I had to sign up for the everything package and have used it nearly every day since with 0 buyer's remorse. If you enjoy art, design, engineering, or anything between quantum mechanics and mindless doodles, then I feel confident saying you can find something inside Concepts to love.
4 ★This app is great but I see a lot of lost potential in terms of organization. Adding a search function, and folders or tags would give this app potential to be a knowledge database like obsidian or roam. I take a lot of visual notes on here, and if I continue to do that it will be very hard to navigate unless I do everything on one infinite canvas, which risks misplacing your work Just a suggestion :) Ergonomics is very important to me
5 ★Excellent app altogether. great for having out ideas, or doing sketches, even doing technical diagrams with plenty of detail. functions as solidly and with as many streamlined functions, (and then some) as compared with a certain Adobe product. I usually go overboard on some crazy geometric drawings with the isometric grid lines, and snap to grid function, trying to figure out how to art, but I also use this app for a few things for work, like taking a picture and putting dimensions and text.
5 ★Great app! Really reignited my love of drawing. I have most of the one time paid components on both my Android devices and my Surface Go. Still five stars but I do wish the Android/Windows versions matched up with the Apple iOS version a bit more. I keep seeing hundreds of tutorials for the ipad that don't quite fit with the features of the Android/Windows versions. I especially want to try out the water color paint mixing option that seem to be available on iOS. Hopefully soon!
