1 ★Recent update ruined what use to be a reliable and good alarm clock app. Now snooze=dismiss or the alarm will freeze and you can not snooze or disable it. I don't understand, why add the new backgrounds and UI? What was wrong with the old one? The app use to work, now here I am needing to find a new alarm clock app after I paid for this one. I have no other apps preventing it from working.
3 ★Since the update: display turns off when the alarm is going off making it more difficult for me to snooze the alarm. When An alarm is snoozed you can't use the app anymore. And the worst part for me is if the alarm goes off while you're using the phone, you can't hit you phones back button to go back to what you're doing, I have to hit the home button and go back the long way. Which prevented me from writing this exact comment just a moment ago. Used to be the best app I've ever used. it was simple, straight forward and exactly what I expected of an alarm clock app. More features than the basic one that comes with your phone, but no obnoxious additions. Now I hope they update it again quickly to fix everything.
1 ★Been a user for years, but the new update takes a familiar app with an interface everyone loved and makes it bad. Used to be simple as pie to switch from the alarms screen to the timer screen. Why take something good and screw it up. Please provide a downgrade version on your website for those of us that loved the old look.
1 ★I have changed every setting in my phone (Android: LG V20) to allow ACX to continue running, regardless of any power saving or memory settings. Now, not only is my ACX still skipping some of my alarms, but it will not allow me to snooze the alarm. IF the alarm goes off, when I click on the SNOOZE button, it will indicate that the alarm has been snoozed 1 time, however, a different ringtone (alarm sound) will go off, and not stop unless I DISMISS the alarm. FIX THIS, NOW, or I will delete ACX.
2 ★I don't usually rate apps but this has made my life easier by long shot. Im usually impossible to wake up. This gets it done unless i some how rip the battery out of my phone. Takes a little set up, but almost full proof wake up alarm afterwards. Thanks so much!
4 ★It's rare to find an app so easy to use and so highly customizable. It's hard to think of a function not included. The next alarm widget is great to have on the homescreen. Update: The 2018 UI update makes this app super ugly and much more difficult to use, especially when it comes to switching between tabs. Give me back the old version.
2 ★I have been using the pro version for years with no issues, and lately the alarm has not gone off 25% of the time, I have been late for work, and an alarm is of no use when it doesn't do what it's supposed to do. I have made sure it is not blocked, and I don't know what else to do. UPDATE: I uninstalled and reinstalled app and it took me to a setting called unmonitored apps on my phone. I added the alarm clock so we'll see if that helps. I will add stars if I have no more issues in the next couple of weeks, because this really was an awesome app.
1 ★I've used this pro app for years and loved it but this current update makes it unusable. I've checked every conflict and setting there is and no matter what my alarms still aren't going off. Additionally it seems that the internal clock in the app is wrong as it tells me I have a certain amount of time to my next alarm, which doesn't correlate at all to the actual time and what time I have my alarms set for. I'm uninstalling and looking elsewhere unless this can be fixed.
5 ★I use it every day, making you do sums is such a fantastic idea.. Edit: i have been using this app for 4 years now, still wakes me up every day and so the best alarm app.. Still 5 stars.. Edit 2: constantly getting a notification staing the app is running in the background, happening about 2 weeks now and getting quite annoying, strongly considering changing the alarm app I have used for years and don't want to have to do that.. Edit 3: still good app, however, the new UI is awful, please move the alarm mute button to bottom on screen and make the mute button actually work.
1 ★Causes screen damage: app prevents screen from turning off unexpectedly. This 'feature'keeps turning on again with each new release. This is also a security and power use issue. AVG, you can do better. Should not have ads in the paid version. Junk. They are on by default and you have to go to a buried menu to disable them
5 ★I've been using this app for many years, and this morning it let me down for the first time in that the snooze was ignored and the alarm was simply reset to the next day. Please don't ruin the app with these "updates". I had to remove a star because of this.
2 ★Works great for me. Update: Went from 5 stars to 2 stars. The new UI is very pretty, but like many others have said it lacks a lot of functionality. The math problems used to be my favorite part, now that screen is absolutely unusable. The button layout for that screen is absolutely garbage now. The buttons are too small and never register correctly on the mute button or the swap math problem button.
