Dr. Nelson’s founding philosophy is Proverbs 22:1 “A good name is to be more desired than great wealth, favor is better than silver and gold”, and that is how he runs his business.
Town & Country Veterinary Clinic has a long history in River Oaks. It was first established in the early sixties and was originally located on Jackboro Hwy and River Oaks Blvd. It was purchased by Dr. Mac Todd in 1979 and was moved to its current location in 1997. Dr. Todd operated Town & Country until 2011 when he sold the practice to Dr. Derrick Nelson.
We are very proud of our long history in the community and are pleased to say that we still have many clients that remember taking their pets to the old location “up on the hill”. We still have 2 staff members that were part of this very long history.
We look forward to seeing our “old friends” and making new ones as Town & Country Veterinary Clinic continues to grow and improve.
