Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★Nice simpel tool, to find some indications.
5 ★Simple and accurate
4 ★Nice and handy tools
5 ★Works great and looks good
5 ★Works great at contruction site.
3 ★It doesn't matter how quiet it doesn't display below around 30-35dB. Makes me wonder if it's a calibration issue or a compatibility issue with my phone or if my phone's mic is just bad. At the other end, fairly noisy environment register a lot quieter in the app than I intuitively think they sound. Like in the street with lots of noise it registered 45db and called it a quiet library. I have no means of indepently verifying the readings but as I said, they feel wrong.
5 ★Seems accurate. Really no easy way to check this app for accuracy and/or calibrate it for accuracy, need a 'standard' for comparison to be offered to serious users. This could be used for sound level analysis for exposure to users and their children's audio present and future health.
5 ★I like that this app gives both the loudness of sound in a number value in decibels and an everyday situational example like the loudness of a library or heavy traffic. The values seemed to correlate well with changing sounds. It is very user friendly and more accurate than some apps.
5 ★Actually very nice app. Sound still detected even in silent room. Calibration is not clear how exactly - SPL
5 ★Great visual display for music to keep at safe volumes. It does need regular reloads if your phone powersaves. Galaxy s10
5 ★I play cello and viola and recently read an article about the danger of excessive sound on the ears of string players - even from their own playing! So I went in search of an Android app that could help me measure the range of decibels I produce during practice so I could see how much and for how long and adjust for a healthy exposure period. I tried both Sound Meter by melon soft and Sound Meter by Splend Apps in addition to this app by KTW Apps and only this one had a feature where I could record a duration as a history file - perfect! Yeah, there are ads and they're gnarly-in-your-face if you're not careful how you navigate the options but real life is full of compromises. I'm happy.
5 ★Simple straight to point system
