This calculator enables clinicians to enter clinical data and generate risk estimations based on two popular models: NELA (the National Emergency Laparotomy Audit) and P-POSSUM. These risk scoring tools are widely used to risk assess patients for emergency laparotomy.Risk prediction is recommended clinical best practice and PoRC: Perioperative Risk Calculator allows you to undertake this quickly and easily. As an app, it does not require an internet connection and stores no personal or patient information.
