We know how to develop and build better software services and products without spying on the users of our software apps.MyMapia provides the same mapping and roads features with step-by-step navigation directions, as other mapping software, because it uses the same mapping database as other mapping software. The details and features provides by the software database depend on the location. Some locations provide basic information.
MyMapia works most of the time offline which means it will not use the data plan for the device. The global mapping database is divided into countries. Each country is divided into cities or regions, each of which has its own mapping file. The user will need to download the mapping file for the city or region of interest. This is the only time MyMapia will use the data plan for the device. After the mapping file for the area of interest is downloaded, MyMapia will provide mapping services completely offline. The user can download as many mapping files as needed, provided the device has the required memory space. The user can delete the mapping files for the areas that are longer required. In most of the times, one mapping file can be downloaded to the device in one or several minutes, depending on the size of the file and the speed of the WIFI connection.
MyMapia does not track and/or record the movements, or transmit the movements history of the user regardless of the setting on the mobile device. Also, MyMapia does not use any third party plugins which do that job.
MyMapia does not have any kind of ads, and is supported solely by our own private resources.
