EDS (Encrypted Data Store) is a virtual disk encryption software for Android which allows you to store your files in an encrypted container. VeraCrypt(R), TrueCrypt(R), LUKS, EncFs container types are supported.

EDS Lite is a free and open source edition of EDS.

Main program features:

How to install EDS Lite APK on Android phone or tablet?

Download EDS Lite APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

Update Phone Settings

Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK

Go to Downloads

Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files

1 ★Only supports the FAT file system, so NTFS isn't supported, but this isn't explained anywhere on the app's page on Google Store. VeraCrypt isn't supported, despite claims that it is.

1 ★uninstalling the app deletes any container that was created with the app without any warning. This app is supposed to protect your data but instead it just erases everything when you uninstall like a child throwing a tantrum.

5 ★Free version is open source ☺ but for some reason paid version is not 😒 . 5 Stars for open source version.

2 ★I was creating a large container on an external drive. Somehow my internal storage is completely full now and I can not seem to locate the file. Maybe EDS created the container in a temp folder..

5 ★After time with the app I have found it to be excellent, I bought the paid version which is also excellent.

1 ★Does not work with TrueCrypt. Does not open existing containers created on PC and TrueCrypt on my PC does not open containers created with EDS.

2 ★I have absolutely no idea how to add files to a container. It's easy to create and open a container, but what next? Can I drag and drop files into it? How? (I have the paid version)
