Also, you can handle more gears, such as EFW and EAF from ZWO. Just connect your phone or pad to ASIAIR WiFi and explore the universe.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★Great app, but I would rate it 5 stars if I could configure a plan to start at astronomical darkness. I'd love to automate the ASIAIR in a way that I can just leave it running over the course of multiple nights.
4 ★Truly as easy as 1,2,3. Well ALMOST. It works well. It only supports ZWO products (and certain DSLRs), but that's okay It's a business decision that's theirs to make, even if their competitors choose to support others' products, including ZWO. But there are a few legit dislikes I have. Not functional, but practical. There's no one screen with all the relevant data during an imaging session. It would nice to have 1 with all the DC ports, devices, USB ports, memory status, sequence data, etc
5 ★Works 👍
3 ★Not sure if there is a bug in this app but I am trying to connect to Station Mode and it's almost like the app hangs at the main screen after typing in and trying to connect via IP address.
4 ★Latest version 2.2.2 fixes the problem that v2.2 crashes on my android phone when I click on "Enter device".
1 ★Aweful
4 ★I've used ASIair since v2 (Pro). There is no easier way to learn astrophotography, but the updates sometimes break things. With Android, that can be a problem unless you have access to older APKs, so just be aware of that. I use a miniPC most of the time at home now, but I still use my ASIair for travel/outreach. There is no better option if you want to use a phone for controlling a telescope. Also, it is only good for short focal lengths, which is why I use NINA at home now.
3 ★Station mode appears to be broken in 2.2.2 on my s23 ultra. I didn't upgrade my iPad and it is still working... Think I'll keep it that way for now. Any ETA on a fix?
4 ★Would you like to add for community pictures viewing Zoom and MOVE function. Instead zoom only? Thanks in advance.
2 ★After the latest update I can't use the GPS to set my locations longitude and latitude. When I click the icon I get location failed. I have location services approved on my S24+ for the app.
