1 ★I used to love this app, but it will not run on my Galaxy S9 Edge. It keeps "stopping unexpectedly". Very frustrating, especially since I paid $30 for a 12 month subscription that is totally useless.
1 ★2nd Update September 2018... two months without being able to use the app. Golf season in Michigan is almost over. Will I get a partial refund on my sky caddie membership, probably not. Update.. three weeks and no information on how to fix this. It seems once I updated my phone to Android 9.0 the app can no longer get course information. This also makes the game tracker tags unusable as I need the app to sync the tags. No response from anyone at skygolf. I recently updated to Android 9.0 on my Pixel 2xl. The app can no longer load the courses in my area. It selects the course I'm at but when I select start round, an error appears stating 'problem during get course'. I haven't been able to track a rounds for over a week.
1 ★Dear Shyhawke Technologies, Your SkyCaddie mobile app no longer functions on my Pixel 2 XL since getting the Pie OS update. I receive this message: "Problem During Get Course". I paid good money for this app so I expect the following: 1 - the app to function correctly. 2 - If problems arise, I expect the problem to be corrected by the creator (Shyhawke Technologies). 3 - If the problem isn't corrected I expect a refund of the purchase price. Thst said, my current issue ("Problem During Get Course") is not all that new. So right now all I expect is guidance from Shyhawke Technologies on what they are doing to correct this issue and when exactly I should expect it to be fully and completely corrected. 2 ★Simply won't open. Start the app select a course - crashes. This has beengoing on for months now - when are you guys going to fix it?
4 ★I downloaded the app following a recommendation from a fellow club member. It is a nice app and gives accurate yardage, it is also much better than similar apps as Skycaddie seem to update courses compared to using Google maps. What would make this app even better would be an option that gives yardages on the lock screen so you don't have to unlock the phone each time and drain the battery. If this was added I would give it 5 stars, even without this I will definitely upgrade after the trial period.
