3 ★I had a lot of Hope for this at the beginning . It does a good job of tracking food with a decent database and the interface isn't bad. However, I found the lengthy and frequent ads to be so distracting that I decided to uninstall this since I had found another food tracker which does as good a job but without the amount of advertising here. *12/8/20. Addendum: the developers response is good. They deserve to be in business. I just felt the advertisements were too long. But it's a very good app
5 ★This app makes counting calories and keeping track of meals and snacks very easy. Having a visual breakdown of what I have consumed/have not yet consumed really causes me to think before mindlessly eating. Having a tracker for water intake and exercise are also great features. Totally worth the download. I'm actually using it!!
4 ★Very simple to use. You can add water, exercise and look at a nutritional report of vitamins and minerals that you're taking in. The only downfall is that most of the facts from food seem to he outdated, so, it makes the scanning your foods feature useless. You'll essentially need to add food not listed to get the most accuracy.
5 ★This is THE best app. You can keep up with food intake, exercise and more. If you don't understand how to do a exercise it can be viewed. The food search allow you to view info on everything even fast food. You have a whole community of supportive people. You can connect this app with other tech. I also use this app for water intake, recipes, coaching.
1 ★I've used this app before and I loved it so much. I decided to download it again as I recently had another baby but the app isn't working. Everytime I try to set my goals it gives me an error message saying "oops and error occured" and I can't access anything until I set my goals. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.
2 ★I had started using this app back in 2017. I saw today an article on using a vacation as a reward. Who would recommend that in this day and age? It was clearly an outdated article and since 2017 I been practically reading the same ones since. I honestly appreciate being able to track my food, water, and exercise, but I had enjoyed reading the articles to keep myself informed and motivated and now I feel no one really cares about putting forth new info on this app.
5 ★I really enjoy this app. It helps to keep up with the nutrients you are getting (or lacking) from your diet. I've used it off and on for years.
1 ★Worst app ever. Slow, freezes my phone. I want a refund but google play wont issue one! I cancelled the subscription and uninstalled this app.
3 ★How is it that I can login if using my laptop and no with the app? Thanks for your help. I am in Europe. Giving 3 stars bc I couldn't see at the moment, not sure right now, any disclaimer letting us know that we can't use the app in Europe. I can't tell how many things and time I wasted trying to figure out what the problem might be.
2 ★I love SparkPeople, but I'm extremely disappointed by the lack of community features available on the app. You can post to the feed and comment on others' posts, but there's no instant messaging, no direct replies to comments, and no way to access SparkTeams. These are basic, useful features that are available on the SP website, and that all other calorie counting/fitness community apps I've tried have had. It's a letdown that they're not available in app.
4 ★Love that it's free. I wish it would sync with my connected devices more often and that articles were easier to navigate.
5 ★I have just got started, but so far I really like it. I think logging what you eat keeps you mindful and accountable.
