1 ★Can never log in! This is the second sport's club that's had us use this app. Coaches send out the email invite, but once the app is downloaded, all I can get to is a screen stating it's 'pre-season' - aka there isn't an assigned team for that email (then how did I get the coach's invite??). Then you try to log in through the web page and it relaunches the app! GC Team Manager is a thousand times better!
1 ★This app is TERRIBLE. Perhaps the most awful I've ever encountered, and I've helped develop apps. There's broken links in emails they send, username not accepted even after registering, too many ads, no replies from their help desk, wouldn't let me change profile picture or my son's picture, etc etc etc. I am contacting our sports league to complain and ask that this app NOT be used anymore. There is another app I used for a previous baseball league, so I'm going to see if we can use that one!
1 ★With no reason I have been instructed to "log back into" my son's team page. Fine, but when I try to use the magic link sent to my email it does not work..after multiple gets and several days!..ok, so now I'm trying to log back in to team page by resetting password thru a link sent to my email..and guess what, that doesn't work either! If we are given links to use, or hoops to jump thru to use your app- make them work please!
5 ★Extremely helpful in keeping track of games and practices for my son's two baseball teams.
3 ★Overall it serves a purpose (scheduling, roster, directions and attendance) -- main gripe I have is the lack of live scoring for any sport you are managing other than baseball/softball. It is misleading to the end user/manager. I manage the portal for soccer teams - the app/portal needs to be intuitive enough to know what sport as to not link me to another app that only does live scoring for a non related sport - app it links you to is iScore
2 ★The app is useful in it's core functions. It's obnoxious with the ads being as long as my screen with too much white space. The feed with messages from the app that I cannot dismiss is also annoying. Edit: Further downgraded my rating to two-stars. Why do events from 2016 show up at the top of the schedule? Navigating the app is annoying. The messaging function is there but clumsy since the keyboard covers the message and scrolling is challenging. Only using because league chooses it.
1 ★The app is even worse than the website, which is basically just an ad for the app. It does a really good job of making information hard to find, and then inaccessible (via vague and unhelpful errors) in the off chance you actually find it. A spreadsheet in Corel Office would be more approachable.
2 ★Any function other than looking at the schedule is absolutely useless. I tried to add my wife's account and cannot do that from the app. I tried to log on to the website, which signed me in, but when I went to search for teams, it says I'm not a valid user(even though I'm logged in and receive emails/alerts). I tried to call SI Play and no matter what function I hit, the automated teller advises me to contact the League Administrator, who has no control over the technical issues I'm having. I then tried to just register my wife as her own account and add my son's team. She received the confirmation email and verified the account. She then downloaded the app and when she went to sign in, she received an error saying that the email was not found....even though it was just confirmed 10 minutes prior! My wife is trying to be added as a Team Mom by the administrator, however, this cannot happen until SI Play lets us register her account. We use other sports management apps with our other kids/teams and they are much more user friendly than the SI Play app. If there wasn't a need for knowing the team schedule, this app would be instantly deleted. User friendliness is nonexistent.
1 ★This app is greatly lacking in capabilities. I have 3 boys on different teams and I can't even do a search for their teams unless someone else invites me. Then there is the issue of being sent invites that have you log in only to be told that you still don't have any teams..... The greatest disappointment is that when you log in and it shows you have no teams the only 2 options are to either create your own team or log out.... horrible design, not user friendly
1 ★This app SUCKS! Other than the calendar, there are no other useful features. Messaging/chat would be helpful. The My Feed page is garbage, nothing but ads. Oh, and popup ads every time you navigate to a new page. User experience is super clunky. Why can I not get last year's games to stop populating? Did I mention all the ads?! Wish our league would switch to a real app with real features and ditch this crappy storage waster!
5 ★Pixel users....be aware since the September update I lost messaging ability and received the message 'something went wrong'. Simply uninstall and then reinstall the app. This should fix any issues you might be having. I guess it's the price we pay for being the first to receive operating system updates.
2 ★I'm sure this app is great. I just wish I was able to experience it. It constantly says "ITS PRESEASON- You are registered with the following league. As soon as your team is active you'll be the first to know". The screen doesnt move or anything it just stays on the screen. Everyone else's I know does everything else its suppose to. I would really like to be able to keep up with everything and everyone and my kids be the only ones left out by accident cause of this.
