Its with great pleasure that we invite you to the 3rd Annual Meeting of the Society of Minimally Invasive Cardiothoracic Surgeons of India to be held on the 7th, 8th & 9th September 2018 at Bangalore. This is a meeting of minds that bring together the pioneers and leaders in the field of minimally invasive Cardiac and Thoracic surgery. It aims to cover all aspects of minimal access surgery with emphasis on patient selection, anaesthetic and surgical technique as well as outcomes. Extensive discussions, debates and close interactions with the experts will emphasise areas important in daily clinical work.The goal is to incorporate experience gleaned from the masters in the field towards the development and sustenance of a minimal access surgery program for coronary surgery and surgery for structural heart disease. A special feature of this years meeting will be a Live Workshop to be held on the 7th September with the world’s foremost experts demonstrating their techniques to a select audience covering both coronary artery disease and structural heart conditions.

The state has a rich heritage and the city of Bangalore exemplifies it with its admixture of old world charm and new age feel given that it is the hub of the IT sector in India.
