Ride the rails. See the trains. This is the NYC Subway Map like you've never seen it before! BlipRail makes it easy to tell when the next scheduled train is arriving by animating all of the trains on the map. BlipRail can be used underground (without an Internet connection) to get you on your way and keep you moving.

We all know that trains don't always run on their published schedules, so BlipRail lets you report when a train is running behind or ahead of schedule (and by how much). By selecting a train, you can see what other people reported so you have a better idea of what to expect.

5 ★Awesome app! I've never rated an app before but this one is the exception. It shows all the trains and where there are in live time

5 ★Great app for crowdsourcing rather than relying on GPS data. You might want add an additional minute or two to trains starting at the terminals. Most of the dots just appear at the first stop and start moving (mostly the B division). The scheduled train will hold steady and start moving at the departure time. It will be difficult for the A div since it relies on the feed.

5 ★Great app. I was looking through the lines and noticed that the Z train does not show up at all on the map. The line runs rush hours only and would be kind of helpful if the next train is either a J or a Z train

5 ★Forget about everything you thought you knew about subway apps! This one has changed my life and made every other app about the mta obsolete! Everyone who doesn't feel like looking at a black tunnel to see when the train comes should use this app, it's amazing!

5 ★Even though this is not real time positions, it still helped out in quick transfers and decisions. Thanks for the update to 4.4+ compatibility as well! Hopefully this app can grow more and more!

2 ★I used embark on my I phone and changed my phone to Android phone to find out that embark is not available on Android system. So, I downloaded this app. It looked and sounded promising but after using it a week. I can tell you that it is not accurate. It is not even close being accurate.i am sorry blip but I am only giving you two star for the idea and design and nothing for the data that this app offers.

5 ★On the IRT Main lines the app uses info from the MTA when on internet so you get the most accurate train location information. For all other lines its based on schedules, but the schedules are updated so that is not a problem. Plus I love watching the trains go by on the map

4 ★Really like the directional icons. I use this all the time and provide feedback on late/early trains. Sometimes it's hard to select the right train when two are close or passing.
