Twisty Launcher will look for this hand gesture from the background, so you can perform the gesture from inside any app. This makes it super easy to not miss a quick photo opportunity.

* Android prevents launching apps from the background for about 5 seconds after pressing the home button. If you notice a delay with launching apps try to avoid hitting the home button right before doing the gesture. 3 ★The actions require a little too much force to be natural however. The moto x style double twice works, but you have to give it a good 'snap' to activate it. It only works when the screen is turned on also. Is it possible to get this working while the screen is off?

3 ★very nice and usefull, but the sensitivity need to be improved. right now the 2 premium features can't be used at the same time. only the vertical one works the horizontal one does not work. Update - even with the update it won't work still the horizontal action is ignored even if the vertical one is turned off :(

3 ★The Chop and Face Down /Up work fine but cannot for the life of me get the twist gesture to work. Almost sprained my wrist trying to make it work. Would also like to see other (working) features added. Definitely has potential though. [Samsung S3]

3 ★Love the gestures but as mentioned in another comment, the twist gestures cannot be used together. Also, I keep getting a purchase failed notification from this app every so often even though the purchase was successful and all gestures are unlocked. Fix these issues and I'll give it 4 stars.

4 ★Right now it's works as advertised, except that it's too sensitive. On my Galaxy s4, the camera gesture happens on one rotation, instead of two. Update (8.9.13): the issue has been resolved, now works as expected on my phone. Still wish there was a way for this to work when the phone is off.

4 ★Same problem with a previous post (I unlocked all gestures but I get a failed purchase notification) from time to time. I also noticed that twisty appears to be among the top battery consuming apps when I checked. Other than these, it works very well (I found the other gestures responding better than the chop one)

5 ★Honestly surprised at how great the app is! Really helpful! The chop action to open the camera can be a bit finicky: Either takes a while or needs an additional "chop" to register/open the app, but it's far more quicker than having to go through the menus. Even works nicely with the lock screen: Do the chop motion, and it opens up the camera. But you're still secure, as exiting the camera app goes back to the lock screen. Brilliant! For just a $1, I'm considering on unlocking the other motions, though I wish there were more options/settings, such as other gestures, sensitivity settings, making your own gestures, etc, but not bad! Looking forward to new updates to this app! Loving it!

2 ★Used the chop gesture and it works okay (could be better if more sensitive) so I paid for the other gestures. Unfortunately, the up and down gesture worked sometimes and other times didn't work and the left & right gesture didn't even work at all. Either refund my money or fix the app ASAP. Good idea if it works right.

1 ★I really hate leaving negative reviews, but I feel compelled in this case. Solid idea, terrible execution. It doesn't bother me that it launches by accident sometimes, the problem is that it almost never works when you *do* want it to. Scratch that, it *never* works when you want it to. Sorry devs. Don't buy.

1 ★I have a Moto X and was hoping to use to launch Focal instead of the stock camera app, but could never get it to recognize the gestures nearly as well as works with the stock camera app. Less than a 25‰ recognition rate.

4 ★I gotta admit, I wasa bit wary about this app, but after trying it out I use it on a daily basis. I see other reviews talking about other gesture issues, including purchase all errors. When fixed ill be happy to spend $1 for unlocking feats. Overall good job! Impressed

3 ★Does not launch camera app from the lock screen, despite enabling it in settings. Galaxy Nexus running 4.2.2. Once phone is unlocked, it seems to work, but what's the point then? Doesn't save any time or effort to launch the app manually.
