Gurbani is the Light to illuminate this world; by His Grace, it comes to abide within the mind. ||1||Attention: Please use "Gurmukhi Keyboard" along with this application for typing-in the queries in Gurmukhi.
Searches Gurbani from SGGS, Vaaran and Kabit Savaiye Bhai Gurdas Ji. It also supports search from Dasam Granth. Recently added support for searching gurmukhi shabad from "Shabad Kosh". It supports fuzzy search and is tolerant to spelling mistakes.
One can add the shabad search results in favorites and can tag them. Organize the favorites, export them for future reference and import them as required. Choose different fonts from the provided list. Can opt to display gurbani in Hindi and enable/disable the english translation and many more.
The application also provides "Live Kirtan" from a variety of online content (channel) provider. This feature needs internet connectivity. One can listen to divine kirtans at the convenience of hand-held device any where, any time.
The application also provides Sikh Jantri (both original nanakshai and the one published by SGPC). The reminders for important events are poped as notification. One can modify the event definition or create his/her own events as desired.
Please use Gurmukhi Keyboard to work with application. The keyboard will automatically toggle to Gurmukhi mode.
Important: Please use second Query option i.e. Append Trailing wildcard(*) if you face performance issues and append a wildcard at the beginning if search string is in the middle.

How to install Gurbani Searcher APK on Android phone or tablet?

5 ★I UPDATE MY REVIEW... Thanks a lot for solving my problem. My ignorance led me to the problem of being not able to switch off translation. THANK YOU "Switch off translations" option is no more available. VERY BAD IDEA. 4 stars out of 5 gone🤕. If I can't remove translations, I can't use it for doing sahaj paath. It disturbs😒. Kindly allow uncheck boxes for translations.🙏
1 ★I've been using this app form last year it was great experience for reading a gurbani on my phone instead of using gutka sahib, it's really great to have this app which allows to use anywhere. But now a days I'm getting a lot of ads appearing on this app while reading gurbani, i really feel very bad about it. Request you to please remove the ads from this app so that we can read gurbani without any disturbness.With that adds the Mind goes out from the deepness of remembering lord.
5 ★Best Gurbani app. Ever came through. Equipped with full all Paths and complete Guru Granth Sahib ji in Gurmukhi, Hindi. Along with English translations. Its easy to use by all. I switched to I phone - didn't find any Gurbani app with all paths in Hindi, So kept 1 android ph. to make sure I could use this app always. Have emailed the developer to bring this app to IOS but there must be some limitations with them. I repeat there isn't any Gurbani app better than this. WKWF.
5 ★Waheguru ji ka khalsa Waheguru ji ki fateh I am regular user of your app. I would like to suggest some important changes in app. 1. There should be option of enlarging Fonts of search results shabads. 2. There should be option to enlarge shabads in favorite folder and give option to delete shabad in same folder. 1 ★This app is forcing users to share their locations, now can't remove translations from gurbani, when people become habitual then app makers start adding restrictions, I have lots of bookmarks, will note down all shabads on paper or any text document. People think that someone is doing something for betterment of approach to the gurbani. But there is always money behind every single act and they are not satisfied with the earnings even from banner adds. It isn't a sewa, totally buiness.

May I suggest to retain the previous settings whenever a new version is released... :( I uses custom order in Sundar Gutka, and whenever a new version is released it goes back to default... Appreciate your work and effort in making it more useful and more user friendly app... Thanks in advance...
1 ★First and last feedback. So far it was the best app. But since they have started putting ads on this app, i have to uninstall it. It is frustrating when you open this app to read gurbani but the very first thing you see is ads. It's just so annoying.
1 ★I have installed Gurbani Searcher on two different Android phones and strangely the BANI DATABASE is different in both. Laga matra is different in same Bani. For example : spelling difference in tav prasaad swayiye in both devices. Also the heading is different in both devices. Both devices are updated with latest version. Also the problem in larivaar text is still there. Laga matras are cut off in larivaar text at many places.
4 ★Been using the app since a long time and really appreciate the efforts of Bhaisaab. Recently the spp has started to misbehave a lot, usually hangs the phone, the app doesn't starts sometimes! Some relatives are also facing the same issues. Please look into it.
2 ★Hello.. Recently I have seen the Gurbani fonts and spellings are getting changed which is not so comfortable and aligned to the pothi sahib. Also today all of the sudden when I was reading Rehras Sahib I have seen a new pangti in Dohra has been added. The Dohra has been added from Rama avtaar which was never part of the baani. Kindly check and rectify in Rehras after Dohra in chaupai and before start of Anand Sahib...
5 ★It's very Good and useful app for Gurbaani🌹 Good Job but i have a problem regarding this app ,it needs some optimization beacause it creates crashes rendomly ,it lockdown the smartphone many times while reading Gurbaani, please fix it as soon as possible. i am running it in Realme 6 Smartphone with Android version 10. Thank You
5 ★Very good app, but one day I have switched off translations in Punjabi and now I'm not able to turn on the translations. It's not showing any option about translations any more. Will be thankful if you could do that or resolve my problem.
