Nähern Sie sich als Fahrradfahrer mit der SiBike App einer Kreuzung, schaltet die Ampel binnen weniger Sekunden automatisch auf Grün oder verlängert die bestehende Grünphase. YuBike nutzt die Vorteile der Satellitennavigationstechnologie. Ihr Smartphone bestimmt die Position mittels GPS und prüft, ob Sie einen virtuellen Auslösepunkt mit der passenden Geschwindigkeit passiert haben. In diesem Fall meldet die App die Aktivierung des Auslösepunktes an die Verkehrszentrale. Anschließend gibt die Verkehrszentrale einen Befehl an die Ampelsteuerung und sorgt dafür, dass sie grünes Licht erhalten.
