Your Blood Pressure is recorded as TWO numbers:
1. Systolic Blood Pressure (larger number):
It is the pressure exerted by blood against the arteries when the heart beats.
2. Diastolic Blood Pressure (smaller number):
It is the pressure when the heart rests.

Blood pressure has a daily pattern. Blood pressure is normally lower at night while you're sleeping. Your blood pressure starts to rise a few hours before you wake up.
