Description

**NOTE: Android 8.0 and newer adds a small icon next to your customized icon. It's not possible to remove that due to Android limitations.**

Awesome Icons lets you customize your home screen icons with icon packs and your own pictures. It works with most launchers and does not require root.

Download icon packs from the Play store and mix icons freely from any of them. You can also use your own pictures from the gallery or the camera to create your own icons. With Awesome Icons, you choose the style of each home screen icon individually.

Creating customized icons is easy: find the application and the icon pack you want, and create your new home screen icon with a single tap. You can also customize the label of the application or remove it completely.

You can use the app to personalize your icons with any launcher, including the stock Android launcher and the Google Now launcher.

5 ★Works as expected - shame about the shortcut overlay but not the dev's fault. Widgets work well but would be nice to be able to have icon badges appear on them. Not sure if this is another android limitation. I use widgets for messages (textra) and gmail. Can't notification badges be applied somehow?

2 ★Just got it working again when I realize what everybody is talking about. The Awesome icons icon in the lower end of your custom app. Sorry but this makes it worthless, I'm uninstalling. Otherwise I've been satisfied before when I used it.

3 ★I managed to change the icon I wanted to into a png photo. The thing is, the icon is made into a widget and the label doesn't appear. For it to appear, I have to make the logo into a shortcut, which frames it and makes it look bad. So I just stick to the widget logo without a label...

2 ★Has a nice, easy to use interface, but the Awesome Icons app icon overplayed in the corner the app icon I select looks awful. I downloaded this to allow my apps to look a certain way, and the overlay ruins that entire outcome. Unless/until this feature is removed, this app is a waste of time.

1 ★This use to be a fantastic app to add any style icon you want to your phone. Now as of update 8 for Android they have to have a small Awesome Icons icon in the corner of every icon ruining the exact reason I used it, which was to have a simple clean design for my home screen.

5 ★I am running Lollipop 5.0 on my Galaxy Note 3 and this app works flawless! There is no overlay in the corner if the icons, as mentioned in other reviews. It must only be doing that on newer OS's. Finally an app tat works properly on an older OS, instead of stopping cuz its outdated! :)

3 ★This is the only icon editor app that I found to actually keep transparent backgrounds, yet the label or name of the app with the changed icon never seemed to appear anywhere near the icon. I will stop using the app for now till it is updated, then - if i don't face any problems - I will change it to 5 stars.

1 ★It was ok at first but now it kept on saying "home page not working" Or something like that but it was working fine

4 ★It worked wonderfully, but with the newest app & Android update, the widget option causes Home to stop. Without the qidget option, your logo is part of the icon. Why are all the Homes "unsupported"?!? Clearly doesn't work with Android 8.0

2 ★I'm so mad. This app is exactly what I was looking for, but it adds an ugly little watermark of this app's icon in the corner. You can't even PAY to have it removed. This sucks, what does that even accomplish? It's not like anyone else sees my screen.
