Il D.M. 27.12.2017 Art. 3 obbliga tutte le unità abilitate alla cattura delle vongole a dotarsi di un sistema di monitoraggio e registrazione della posizione in mare. Fastmedia srl ha sviluppato un software, destinato ai Co.Ge.Vo (Consorzi per la Gestione e la Tutela della Pesca dei Molluschi Bivalvi) e agli armatori di pescherecci ad essi associati, per la raccolta e l'elaborazione dei dati di posizione delle imbarcazioni. I consorzi e gli armatori, attraverso una interfaccia web, possono verificare i percorsi di pesca effettuati e gli eventuali sconfinamenti in aree interdette alla pesca. Ai consorzi è demandata la gestione degli account per l'accesso all'applicazione web e all'app MoPeVo. L’app MoPeVo permette agli armatori di verificare rapidamente il buon funzionamento degli apparati gps montati a bordo dei pescherecci visualizzando posizione attuale o storico giornaliero dei percorsi di pesca effettuati.
