2 ★Would like this App but it's a battery hog!! Had fully charged xtra capacity battery that was drained by 9th hole. Also layout of what App tracks is all over. It does not flow easily as it jumps from score to fairways to putts to GIR to placement of T shot. Also noted that I received email during round & after reading it I went back to App my info disappeared. Don't know info gone. Will look for another App cuz battery use not acceptable...
5 ★I have all tried different apps. Have been using this for years. This app and a droid turbo and it's easy 18 holes without worrying about battery life. As far as being updated. What update is needed? I have yet to find a course not in the database. This app doesn't crash. For all those looking for more data tracking. Log info on the card and do data entry later. Logging data during golf is horrible and slows play way down. Just add handicap so I can post scores and not use Diablo for that.
1 ★It appears as if the app is no longer developed and supported. Any attempt to contact support remains unanswered. Used to be a good app, worthless without support and future development. I would not recommend to spend any money on it.
4 ★Works well. Only complaint is occasionally having to reset while on the course. Free version limited to 3 courses, but that's all I usually play so not a real issue.
2 ★I have been using Golf GPS apps including nRange for several years now. Some golfers just want distances to the green ect. Others also want to keep score and perhaps the ability to measure shots. So far - so good - nRange does that fine (at some expense IMHO). But, what if you want to record the club you used on a measured shot and whether it went long, short, right, etc. If so, you probably want some statistics for each club. Even better, you could overlay those stats on a map of the hole your playing. Oh, and how about keeping stats not only on the courses you play, but across all the courses you've played. Well, I recently tested out Golf Shot Tracker Pro (GSTP) thoroughly and decided to dump nRange. I got all the above at a very reasonable one time price. Now, you may not need all those goodies, but as a result of using them, I have a lot more confidence in my game. I no longer need nRange. NOTE: I am not associated with Golf Shot Tracker Pro in any way - just your average golfer using these apps. GSTP may not fit your style but it does mine better than nRange.
1 ★Forever asking you yo validate your email and still won't work. Also pretty poor accuracy. Plenty far better out there so going to uninstall
5 ★I paid the Lifetime membership and am now on my 3rd phone. I've had no problems whatsoever with this app. In fact, I've been showing all my golfing partners for the last 3 years, talking it up & at least 3 have downloaded it. It's accurate, adaptable and has helped improve my scores (8 handicap). Best feature: the satellite images so you can see exact distances to hazards as well as greens. As for battery life, turn everything else off. YOU'RE ON THE GOLF COURSE!!!
3 ★I tried this app out for the first time yesterday. I was really liking it, until I received a call on the 16th hole. When I hung up the call... my round was reset and the score and stat information for the past 15 holes was lost! What a let down.
1 ★I tried the free version, then bought the full version under a different e–mail (my playstore e-mail, obviously). Everytime I now open nRange, it defers back to the old e-mail, and I have to edit to the correct one. Then all my preferences are reset as well. Sometimes crashes halfway through round, then have to go through whole thing again. Tried changing e-mail in settings, un-installed, and mailed customer service. No reply for more than a. month.
5 ★I've been using nRange for almost three years now. It is at least as good as the high priced dedicated units. On the big screen of the Droid Charge, it is easy to pinpoint distances to any location on the course. Support is great. They're quick to respond to questions and issues you think you might have. They just added a course for me at a club that added nine holes (27) and corrected another where a hole was recently remodeled and the green moved. Tops in my book.
1 ★This used to be good but is no longer being supported. I have sent numerous emails and now the email address does not even exist. I purchased the life long option and now I cannot use it.
