Description
Orthodose offers general practitioners and specialists a helpful, practical tool to manage pain in their palliative patients.Established in 2010 by and for palliative medicine practitioners, Orthodose has proven to be an innovative and valuable medical application for healthcare professionals. 🩺
Use Orthodose for calculating rescue doses & conversions, opioid & benzo switching, drug mix & matching, & more.
Orthodose is the all-in-one app for palliative care pain management.
Orthodose - Features:
--------------------------------
• Rescue Dose Calculator*
• Opioid Switcher
• Corticosteroid Converter
• Opioid Intoxication Treatment Guidelines
• Benzo Switcher
• Mix & Match Drug Compatibility Checker*
• Subcutaneous Administration Compatibility Checker
⭐ Rescue Dose Calculator* ⭐
An opioid rescue dose, also called a breakthrough dose, is an additional dose of analgesics administered preferably to patients with cancer in the event of an attack of paroxysmal pain.
Relied on by doctors & physicians since 2010, Orthodose is the only app of its kind that helps caregivers facilitate rescue dose treatment.
⭐ Opioid Switcher ⭐
An Opioid Switcher is used to calculate equianalgesic doses for different opioids used in palliative care.
Orthodose comes complete with an opioid converter that takes alternative ratios derived from Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) into account.
Use Orthodose to calculating conversions for Morphine, Oxycodone, Hydromorphone, Tapentadol, Buprenorphine, Alfentanil, Fentanyl, Sufentanil, Codeine, Tramadol, Dihydrocodeine, Pethidine, Hydrocodone, Diamorphine, and Methadone.
⭐ Corticosteroid Converter ⭐
Corticodose, the built-in corticosteroid converter, allows you to compare the mineralocorticoid potency of most glucocorticoids used in palliative care, like methylprednisolone and dexamethasone.
Orthodose provides you with information on the half-life and mineralocorticoid potency of each corticosteroid free of charge.
⭐ Opioid Intoxication Treatment Guidelines ⭐
Poorly prescribed or poorly used opioids may lead to serious and lethal complications.
Orthodose offers rapid access to FDA-compliant recommendations for the treatment of severe opioid intoxication.
⭐ Benzo Switcher ⭐
Substituting one Benzodiazepine is not customary, but sometimes required, particularly when switching from the oral to the subcutaneous and intravenous administration routes.
When doing so, determining the substitution dose without appropriate information can prove dangerous for patients.
Orthodose’s Benzo Switcher offers you a safer way to do this by using conversion ratios used by your peers, and by providing information about the respective bioavailabilities of benzodiazepines.
The Benzo Switcher works to partially mitigate the current lack of publications and data on this conversion, which is common in palliative care.
⭐Mix & Match Drug Compatibility Checker* ⭐
It is common practice in palliative care to administer treatment by means of a continuous infusion pump. Orthodose’s Mix & Match feature lets you check whether or not it is possible to use a particular combination of drugs in the same syringe.
Not all drug combinations are authorised. Mix & Match does not contain any information regarding drug interactions, the pharmacokinetics and/or pharmacodynamics of medicines.
⭐ Subcutaneous Administration Compatibility Checker ⭐
When oral administration is impossible, the subcutaneous route is then often used in palliative care.
Orthodose’s Subcut features lets you check compatibility for subcutaneous administration & offers you a list of compatible medications.

Questions & Answers
Q: What is an APK File?
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.
