تكاد تطبق المصادر على ذكر قصة مرور أرطغرل ومحاربيه بجيشين يقتتلان وسط الجبال، أحدهما جيش تابع للسلطان علاء الدين السلجوقي والآخر تابع للأعداء (المغول أو الصليبيين)، وأن أرطغرل تدخل بجنوده لترجيح كفة المسلمين ضد خصومهم بعد أن كانت لصالح الأعداء، والبعض قال بأن علاء الدين نفسه كان على رأس هذا الجيش الذي أنقذه أرطغرل.يقول محمد فريد بك: وبعد تمام النصر علِمَ أرطغرل بأن الله قد قيضه لنجدة الأمير علاء الدّين سلطان قونية فكافأه علاء الدين على مساعدته له بإقطاعه عدَّة اقاليم ومدن وصار لا يعتمد في حروبه مع مجاوريه إلا عليه وعلى رِجاله وكان عقب كل انتصار يُقطعهُ أراضٍ جديدة ويمنحه أموالا جزيلة ثم لقب قبيلته بمقدمة السلطان لوجودها دائما في مقَدمة الجيوش وتمام النصر على يديه.
وكانت فتوحات أرطغرل وإقطاعات سلطان السلاجقة له غرب الأناضول بمثابة النواة التي ورّثها لولده دون أن يدري أن ولده وأحفاده سيؤسِّسون هذه الدولة العظيمة التي وصلت في أقصى امتداد لها على مساحة حوالي 20 مليون كيلو متر مربع، وأن يستمر سلطان هذه الدولة ستة قرون من الزمان.
مسلسل قيامة أرطغرل أو Diriliş Ertuğrul يحكي قصة حياة أرطغرل ابن سليمان شاه، والد عثمان خان مؤسس الدولة العثمانية، كقائد قبيلة تجمعت له جميع عناصر تكوين دولة جديدة، لتحمل لواء الفتح الإسلامي في لحظات من التاريخ عاني فيها العالم الإسلامي حالة من الشتات والضعف. المسلسل بدأ إنتاجه في مايو 2014 على جزئين بمجمل 61 حلقة ويعد نقلة في الدراما الإسلامية، كما يحمل الكثير من المعاني والرسائل التي لا أعلم كيف لم يتم نشرها حتي الآن!
