Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

3 ★It's a useful app, I used it a lot in the past, but it was much better from my point of view previously. The barcode scanner takes a lot of tries until it reads the barcode now, if it does, previously it detected the code much faster. Previously it also displayed the photos taken for each meal, which helped having a good overview, but also as inspiration looking back when you lack ideas. It would be great if they reintroduce this feature and improve the barcode scanner.
4 ★IMO the new interface in which you can only have one food item per photo is a huge step back. I loved to take the single photo and tag everything in it. Now, since it rarely nails what is in the photo, you end with the stock photos from the app instead of your own. That said, the database is very good and amount details for entries are much better than in most other similar apps I've tried, so I'm still keeping it. It is not unassailable though like it was before.
1 ★This software has left me really unsatisfied. I was lead to believe that it would allow me to do some meal planning, but after a few iterations, I discovered that it is more of a meal logger. I've set the definitions for metric measurements, but the receipts are in imperial, which makes it difficult for me to convert when cooking. This is a significant red flag for someone who is interested in automation. The nutrician is adequate, however they do not provide menu planning. refund was processed
3 ★There's many faster and more adaptable choices for food tracking out there, this doesn't stand out as it is now. Food recognizion doesn't learn anything (like it doesn't remember what you usually have with toast and make guesses based on that, it just doesn't know what's on it), and to be honest it very rarely knows what anything is. If it actually worked this would be a lot better. However, I do enjoy the possibility of adding a pic and seeing what you've eaten.
3 ★It is a good app. However 2 big issues for me. 1: It is expensive. It is too much to pay if I am not using all of its functions. It would be really nice with a Light version, without for instance the Personalised Coaching. It crashes way too often on the most simple functions. I have not been able to advance in my classes for 3 days, although I really want to! It is unacceptable to pay this much for an app that crashes as much as it does right now. I like it a lot, but it needs work.
5 ★I am very happy so far. Usually I get bored with app where you have to write all the time what you do, but the interface is nice and easy, picture recognition very handy, colors and graphics very appealing. I love the physical activity section! after trying 10different apps, i finally found the one that got me hooked for long term management of my habits. not yet a premium member, but really considering it soon. Great thanks and keep going!!
1 ★PAYWALL The app doesn't have any free version to try out the content, only a free trial after which it automatically charges you a lot of money. This is not clear enough in the description, I've installed it and opened and it immediately started asking me a bunch of questions, then it was about to charge me. I pressed the back button to see if I could try the app first and it lost all the progress of the questions and went back to square 1. Hostile and scammy app design.
4 ★A Type 1 diabetic & insulin pumper, I installed this b/c of its ability to track my eating w/ a barcode scan or food photo. I use this data as input to my insulin pump, & find my insulin therapy & control is more accurate. It has helped, but it is not perfect & suffers a few bugs. I do not use it for work out guidance, -no comment on that. Search functions in my favorite foods list doesn't work and many foods listed are from users & not vetted so data is inaccurate. Other than that I recommend.
5 ★I'm gonna give this a 5 stars. BUT.. I have subscribed to premium just yesterday as soon as I explored the app, though today I get banners to upgrade to premium when I've already done so. I'm unable to access premium features and have sent the issue to support, hopefully they'll get back soon. Besides this inconvenience the over all UX an UI is refreshing and the structure is highly user-friendly and intuitive in a lot of ways both regarding the layout and contents. Very well done.
1 ★free trial doesnt work, i signed up for it but nothing happened.
3 ★Daily classes keep repeating, NOTHING NEW! Nutritionist is a waste of my time. Talking to RD at my job is more helpful. If my weight loss doctor wouldn't require me to use this app I'd quit it.
3 ★Some good features but still very beta. Not totally usable at this stage. The photograph your food feature is fantastic, however it's database of food is extremely limited with no obvious way of adding items. Totally lacking any system for adding custom recipes. This is an absolutely critical item to get macros correct. This is a major fail item. No way to add custom barcode items, this alone would allow them to crowdsource improving database. The nutritionist coaching is a great idea.
