Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★The app does not recognise I have bought pro so it has cut my Dexcom feed. Trying to contact support but no response
1 ★Cannot connect to Freestyle libre online data. Very late response to support request and unable to fix the problem.
4 ★Hi back again, having the same issue. When you attempt to change the time at the top it opens window that puts time in milliseconds??? Would love aiwayvto fix this.Thank you for putting it back on Google play! But when I attempt to change the time it pulls up milliseconds and then changes date to December 31, 1969?????? It's still my favorite app, it just doesn't end up being the correct time. I Couldn't live without it. I've been using this for about 7 yrs? Please advise! Thanks
2 ★The app is meh. Definitely not accurate as far as predictions and they want you to pay for it to be able to get some sort of dosing calculations. I already pay enough for insulin, cgm and a plethora of other meds, so I find that extra annoying. Hopefully when I have my baby, my numbers will even out and I won't need this app anymore. Oh, and why can't it identify trends and make sure adequate insulin doses are estimated? I shouldn't have to poke myself 3 extra times between meals to lower bsg.
2 ★This app is useful for calculating bolus doses if that's all you need it for. You have to pay a monthly subscription to take advantage of other functions, including looking at reports/trends. It's not accurate at predicting BG. And if you need to change the time on an entry, you have to calculate the minutes - if it's for 1:30pm, you have to enter 810 minutes to get the right time - super inconvenient.
2 ★The app tries to do too much. All I want is a simple dose calculator, which is not included in the free version. You can turn it back on, but it turns off the next day. Too complicated and too many features I don't need.
1 ★To potential users: do not download this app, you will save more time by simply calculating your dosage manually. Having a pay wall for a medical utility app, after a "free-trial" is despicable beyond belief. This app is okay at first but becomes bloated and buggy. I like the concept going on with this app and especially the predictive model used to help decipher why your blood sugar might be high or low. However, even the most basic utility of calculating insulin dosage almost never works.
1 ★This is a great app and I loved the dose calculator but only if you pay for it. It does tell you that you are on a trial and that it expires in 14 days but what I didn't know was that after 7 the calculator portion expires. I got an email on the 7th day stating they had disabled it. The reason was fine but this was the first I was hearing about it. Worse than that is I only know what is happening because I read my email. The app didn't tell me but just keeps the dosage at 0.
4 ★App works with Nightscout after I used the correct token. I use it with Alexa to get verbal glucose measurements.
5 ★My A1C stayed in the 6s for 12 months. But the app I used stopped calculating insulin dosage. I began calculating myself. By 5/23 my A1C was 7.9. So I searched and found Jade. First, the free version and then subscription. Today my endocrinologist said my A1C was 6.9. If a 77 year old can make time to continue learning an effective life improvement service, why wouldn’t anyone, needing help calculating insulin? I am as enthused about having diabetes back under control as I hope I sound.
