Description
TimBre for screening Tuberculosis (TB): Use it without having to visit a diagnostic lab or a clinic/hospital for a Sputum Smear Microscopy/IGRA/Mantoux/X-Ray/GeneXpert. Simply cough into the Microphone Array provided with the App in a quiet room without any extraneaous noise such as Fans/Pets/TV/Music/Patients. Anymandatory input variables you are unsure of, refer to your
Physician or Healthcare worker.
The results shall be sent via SMS to the same phone collecting the
patient data.
Disclaimers:
1) This is a TB screening app and not a diagnostic tool. Once a
positive result is communicated, get tested from a nearest diagnostic
lab or hospital. Check for a test that detects
MDR(a mutation in the bacilli)
2) If symptoms of illness continue and the app reports negative TB, do
see a Physician for other ailments
2) Make sure to clean up the microphone array & phone with a disinfectant such
as Lysol after cough is recorded regardless of the outcome & replace the filter that has been provided to your healthcare worker
3) All of the data entered is fed into our Electronic Medical Record
System (EMR) for tracking and treatment purposes
4) The screening can still be done with the Mobile phone if you do not have access to our packaged solution. It may not guarantee accuracy of the results.
