索發(そうはつ、そーはつ)は索子と發の４０枚だけで行われる二人用の麻雀ゲームです。京都大学吉田寮では数十年前からプレイされている歴史あるルールです。
オンライン対戦で全国のプレイヤーと腕と運を競い索發マスターを目指しましょう。

ゲームの特徴
・手牌が２面子１雀頭の計８枚で構成されており手牌の数も役も少ないので、麻雀より、わかりやすくスピード感のあるゲームが楽しめます

・アシストモードを搭載しているので麻雀を知らない麻雀初心者の方でも楽しめます。

・持ち点は３５０００点（飛び料１万点）でどちらかが飛ぶまで続く。
・上がり連荘（ノーテン罰符は８０００点払い）
・点数計算は通常の麻雀と同じで１０００点未満は切り上げ
・自模損計算（例えばマンガン上がりは通常だと2000+2000+4000の8000点だが、索發では2000+4000=6000点になる)
・鳴きはポン、カンのみ。チーは無し
・一発カン裏のアリアリ
・ドラ表示牌が發のとき、ドラは發でダブドラ
・一本場２０００点
・混一色（ホンイツ）/清一色（チンイツ）はつかない
