Description
This app will help people with Type 1 diabetes in two areas:IDM-Tracker provides a record of your blood glucose levels as they relate to meals, and is laid out in a diary format that can be viewed on the linked IDM website (https://idm.ualberta.ca). There, the data can be formatted to just show glucose values or can have insulin doses, exercise, food consumed, hypoglycemia or any combination of these parameters showing. We also show a summary slide of median blood glucose levels from meal to meal and overnight as well as what happens if the readings are normal, high or low. Such a layout makes adjusting the insulin regimen easier.
IDM-Bolus does all that tracker does but in addition provides a bolus calculator. After signing up you MUST enter details of your regimen on the IDM website before usage and then at any time of day IDM-Bolus will calculate the dose of insulin suggested by your regimen.
Please note these apps should be used in conjunction with your diabetes care provider.
