MDR AKTUELL bietet schnelle und verlässliche Nachrichten aus Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt, Thüringen, Deutschland und der Welt – aktuelle Berichte, Videos, Livestreams, Wetter und Verkehr online, im Radio und Fernsehen.Jede Stunde sendet MDR AKTUELL – Das Nachrichtenradio Beiträge zum aktuellen Zeitgeschehen: Berichte, Reportagen, Hintergründe, Kommentare, Interviews mit Experten und Politikern. Regionale und überregionale Nachrichten gibt es im Viertelstunden-Takt. Stündlich schaltet MDR AKTUELL zur Börse nach Frankfurt/Main, zehn Minuten nach halb laufen ausführliche Sportnachrichten. MDR AKTUELL sendet live rund um die Uhr und ist hörbar in ganz Deutschland.
MDR AKTUELL ist die einzige Fernsehnachrichtensendung für Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt und Thüringen.
In der App sind alle Sendungen zu sehen, die Hauptausgaben live. Diese laufen am Abend 17.45 Uhr, 19.30 Uhr und 21.45 Uhr. Der Einstieg in den Nachrichtenabend läuft um 17.45 Uhr mit dem Blick auch auf die benachbarten Bundesländer, sowie Tschechien und Polen. Um 19.30 Uhr gibt es den vollständige Nachrichtenüberblick aus Mitteldeutschland, Deutschland und der Welt aus konsequent ostdeutscher Sicht. Um 21.45 Uhr folgen die Top-Storys aus Sachsen, Thüringen und Sachsen-Anhalt. Ab 9 Uhr morgens informieren wir unsere Zuschauer in den Aktuell-Kurzausgaben.
Auf den Sportseiten gibt es Fußball total: Die Ergebnisse aus der Bundesliga, der 2. Bundesliga, der 3. Liga und der Regionalliga Nordost – während der Spiele als Liveticker. Viele Spielberichte und die legendäre Bundesligakonferenz live auf dem Handy: Samstag, ab 15.30 Uhr.
