About MECM Status APK
Description
The MECM Status mobile app enables you to update your presence status in the MECM service when you are in a meeting, on a business trip, on holiday or otherwise busy and therefore unable to answer calls. The status is visible to the PBX attendants and also via the web-based phone directory.You can either select one of the pre-defined absence/presence codes or write your own presence status (max. 10 characters, no spaces). You can also enter further information or comments that will be communicated together with the presence status.
If you want, you can set a presence status for a longer period. If you set a time of return, your previous presence status will be reactivated at that time. In your time of return, you can specify both a time and a date.
The presence status will be transmitted by SMS and requires that your company is using the supplementary SMS services of the MECM service. Moreover, your mobile phone number must have been saved in the database of the MECM service.
The first time you use the service you will be asked to enter the number of the SMS centre.
The pre-defined absence/presence codes are: meeting, course, vacation, lunch, travel, present, away, sick, vocational and busy.
