http://www.cavu.io

This app features
• configurable flight data displays incl. support for navigation maps
• toggle between drone perspective and ground perspective (smartphone camera) to check the surrounding during start and landing without taking off the goggles
• on-screen tutorials that will bring you up in the air faster

See http://fpv.whaale.com for a full documentation of the app.

The app can be downloaded for free and can be used for 5 minutes of flight time after each start.
To remove this restriction, please use the "Unlock" button in the app.

*1
DJI Phantom 3 or newer is needed

In order to achieve the best results, we recommend using smartphones with 5 - 5.5" displays with a very high resolution (at least Full HD = 1920 * 1080, better QHD = 2560 * 1440 pixels).

As 3D goggles you can use "google cardboard" compatible devices or any device that will hold your smartphone.
We recommend using devices that allow your smartphone camera to see outside - so that you can use the full potential of our app.
If the goggles support adjusting the distance between the lenses, it is easier to make them fit perfectly.

Please respect the rules/regulations/laws about flying with goggles that apply to the country you are living in.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★Last updated one year ago, is this app being actively maintained?
1 ★Don't go with Phanton 3 SE. 😒
2 ★Wont open on GalaxyS9
4 ★works well
5 ★i love it
3 ★CAVU has great potential. Unfortunately it will not control the Mavic gimbal pitch at all running on my MotoG4 /Android 7.0. The thumbwheel pitch (only) works if I turn off the head tracking icon, but as soon as I turn it back on the gimbal stays fixed regardless of how I tilt my head up and down. Litchi VR mode on the same phone does head tracking and controls the gimbal tilt, so I know it's not the phone or Android version. All of the other features seem to work and it connects without issue. I'd gladly purchase the app if the gimbal tilt head tracking worked, but as is, it doesn't work for me.
2 ★The app has some issues connecting to the Spark. I had to restart the RCand drone to try and get the app to connect. It worked one time and wascool to try in FPV with goggles. After the 5min trial, I restarted the RCand AC and the app but wouldnt connect again. DJI would connect fine butnot the CAVU app. I really wanted this to work and and pay the fee to usethe full features but am I gonna get the same cant connect issues?
5 ★Very promising, the best fpv app out there. I have an xperia z5, it lags when i use litchi as fpv. But with this, there is a lot less lag when in fpv mode. I love the customizable layout. I hope future updates will include the usual intelligent flight modes. I think i'll purchase the license. This is a great fpv experience when you don't want to shell out $450 on dji goggles.
4 ★*PLEASE FIX* First off I'll start by saying this is a five-star app I used it once for 5 minutes and paid for instantly worth it! The only issue I have is that the zoom button for phone camera or drone is also the same as the exposure button for the Phantom 4. So if I need to change my exposure it forces Zoom and I lose my peripheral vision or if I use zoom on the phone and switch back to camera all I can see is a bright white screen and if I try to adjust my exposure it also changes the zoom it would be nice if you could add a button that would turn zoom on or off just like you have with head track I like that I can turn that off as I prefer not using it. Please please add that option. Also I'm curious do the parameters for the Drone go off of my settings for the DJI Go app?
4 ★Good not great takes a bit to get started but works nicer then any other app half the price of litchi runs smother i fly a mavic pro and my phone is a s8
5 ★I just purchase the license and so far it has worked with my spark and rc combo without OTG of course. However I have a question regarding the RTH function when signal is lost Im assuming it will still RTH at the altitide set in the djiGo4 app?
3 ★It works pretty well with my Mavic pro and Samsung Note 4. At least thereis no Glitch like the Litchi App. Unfortunately there is no Aircraft HeadTracking (Immersive mode) It would be great if the developers add thisfunction.
