La USL Sudest e la Regione Toscana, nell'ottica di avvicinare le tecniche di PMA ai cittadini e nello stesso tempo di ottimizzare sia i costi sia l'efficienza delle prestazioni, hanno deciso di creare la "Rete PMA", volto a istituire ambulatori territoriali per una fertilità consapevole, distribuiti in tutto il territorio della nuova Azienda, che dovranno collaborare e lavorare in rete, per poter offrire a tutta la popolazione territoriale una uniformità di prestazioni e di servizi di qualità ed avanguardia al passo con le tecnologie e le ricerche scientifiche.I punti sul territorio senese, aretino e grossetano sono così in grado di fornire una immediata risposta sulla capacità riproduttiva con conseguente indirizzo delle coppie che necessitano di prestazioni di PMA ai Centri di riferimento di I livello. Per quanto concerne il II ed il III livello le coppie saranno indirizzate al Centro di PMA di Cortona per accedere al ciclo di fecondazione in vitro dopo adeguata preparazione effettuata presso gli ambulatori.
