Aplikasi FAI diharapkan bisa menjadi alat bantu untuk stake holder dan pengambil keputusan untuk melakukan evaluasi, monitoring dan pengambilan kebijakan terkait usaha menekan angka Angka Kematrian Ibu/Anak (AKI/B). Aplikasi FAI bermanfaat untuk:• Mengetahui jumlah AKI dan ABI secara real time, bertujuan untuk monitoring dan evaluasi
• Mengambil tindakan atau kebijakan terkait angka AKI/B
• Melakukan evaluasi terhadap kinerja petugas medis
Aplikasi FAI meliputi: (1) Rekam data ibu hamil, meliputi rekam data kependudukan, lokasi, demografis untuk memantau jumlah, pemetaan dan sebaran kehamilan di seluruh wilayah kabupaten jember; (2) Rekam medis ibu hamil, meliputi rekam data kehamilan, kelainan kehamilan, resiko kehamilan, prediksi kelahiran untuk memantau kesehatan kehamilan dan memberikan peringatan dini apabila terjadi sesuatu yang membutuhkan tindakan medis secara cepat dan tepat; (3) Rekam Petugas Medis, meliputi pencatatan petugas yg berwenang mengambil tindakan medis terkait kesehatan kehamilan, semisal dukun bayi, bidan, dokter, dokter spesialis untuk memberikan pelayanan medis yg cepat, tepat sasaran dan terencana berdasarkan data demografis dan data rekam medis ibu hamil; (4) Rencana Rujukan, meliputi fasilitas kesehatan dan tenaga kesehatan yang disiapkan untuk membantu persalinan, terutama pada kasus Bumil dengan risiko tinggi; (5) Data Fasilitas Kesehatan, meliputi rekam lokasi dan tingkatan/jenis fasilitas kesehatan, diantaranya praktek Bidan, Puskesmas, Praktek dokter, Klinik, rumah sakit dll. Bertujuan untuk memberikan lokasi rujukan yang cepat dan tepat apabila diperlukan tindakan medis pada kehamilan ibu.
