Description

Kick the Habit: Quit Smoking has been designed for people who wish to wean themselves off cigarettes over time, or for those that want to quit immediately.

If you quit smoking immediately then you will still be shown all the relevant data as below, you just won't have any targets to meet.

The main purpose of Kick the Habit: Quit Smoking however is for those that wish to wean themselves off cigarettes. You will be presented with a daily target to accomplish, based on how many cigarettes you initially smoked. Slowly, but surely your daily targets will drop, until after thirty days you will have a target of zero cigarettes.

Kick the Habit: Quit Smoking will log all your data and let you know whether you are ahead or behind target and by how much.

Only three questions are asked on initial launch:-
- How many cigarettes you smoked each day.
- How many cigarettes are in a pack.
- How much does each pack cost.

Kick the Habit: Quit Smoking will log the following details each day:-
- Money Saved so far.
- Money Spent so far.
- Time since your last cigarette.
- Days since you started.
- Cigarettes Smoked so far.
- Cigarettes Avoided so far.
- Time Saved so far.
- Time Wasted so far.

The following details are also recorded (based on how many cigarettes you initially smoked prior to using the Kick the Habit: Quit Smoking app):-
- Cigarettes smoked per day, week, month, year.
- Time wasted per day, week, month, year.
- Cost per day, week, month, year.

Graphical and Log Data is also presented on the Chart page, showing the amount of cigarettes smoked versus your daily targets.
Also shows your overall progress: whether you are ahead or behind your set targets.

You can share your progress chart on Facebook. This can help with encouragement from friends and family.

You can delete your progress at any time and start again with new details from the Options page.

The logging of data still occurs even after the daily targets have ended. Come back to the app months/years in future and your savings etc will all still be updating.

Now is the time to quit smoking. It's not just a New Year's Resolution or Stoptober.

4 ★App does exactly as shown, it helps you keep track of how much you smoke a day and help you set a goal. With that being said I have been smoking for 26 years and was up to 45 cigarettes a day . After using this app for 6 days I have cut it down to only 18 cigarettes a day. I am resetting it so I can go at a slower pace. With willpower and determination with the help of this app if I am smoke free in 30 days I will give this app 5 stars.
4 ★Its not rocket science. You could do the math and cigarette per day tally on your own (on paper). With that said, I think this app is very effective simply because it reminds me why I'm quitting. I love that it reminds me how much time and money I have saved so far, because, truthfully, I need to be reminded that just a few weeks ago I was spending that time away from my kids and that money on cigarettes instead of paying off my credit card. For me, the shame factor has been a positive motivator.
4 ★I like that this app gives me the opportunity to hold myself accountable. The summary of money saved, number smoked and skipped is easily accessible. Only complaint is that if I forget to log a cigarette smoked the day before, there is no way to edit it.
4 ★Would be alright if not for the ads. Full screen pop ups on app start AND button press is annoying, ludicrous and down right greedy. I'd rather pay 99 cents as opposed to the ads. There are extremely similar free apps with no ads that have the same features. Uninstalling. Edit: Now the dev must have been listening. Epically better without the ads. Good on you, rating goes from a 1 to 4 star.
5 ★Super easy UI. Anyone can use it. The only problem is remembering to push the button when you actually smoke lol. Good app, helps make you more aware of what you're doing and how often you do it.

4 ★Well I think it's one of the better apps. But it could add a bit more info.CO2 level, heart rate returns to normal etc. But overall it helps you reduce your habit if you follow it. Not bad. Keep up the good work.
