天九是中國國粹之一，相傳國父孫中山亦愛好天九。直至二十世紀八十年代，天九仍在中國南方流行，常常出現於大中華圈媒體之中。但近年年輕一輩懂得天九的人已經越來越少，幾近失傳。天九基本規則其實相當容易，但初學者認牌會比較困難。本程式專為初學者而設，自創一套記牌系統，務求令初學者馬上入手，快速成為天九達人！！
本程式目前是一個單機遊戲，配備三個性格各有不同的電腦對手。玩家還可以選擇一對一或一對三的遊戲模式。
