Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

5 ★I have been using this app for over a year but the last over 25 days I have gotten an error message that says can not connect to state ebt system. I used to use this regularly with the updates it is very disappointing to not be able to use it. Update- 6/28 this app is now connecting. I have used this app a lot in references to other assistance and grants awareness. I just got a covid extra credit grant check for my son last year of online learning. Thanks Fresh EBT
1 ★Now they're shoving some "Providers" garbage down our throats. They say "it's free and optional" but it never stops bothering you to "Finish setting up your Providers Card". And they'll collect fees from someone, probably either merchants or some transaction processor from each transaction made with the card. They're trying to make money off people on EBT. Just use the website on your mobile browser to view your balance if you can. This app "can't connect" to that website half the time anyway.
1 ★App was working great until this last update. It will not refresh anything and says it cannot connect to my state at this time. I uninstalled the app, reinstalled it, and now i can't even recreate my account to check the balance as it is giving me the same messages as before. Im removing this app and just sticking to calling in from now on for any balance. If/when this annoying problem is fixed, Ill come back.
1 ★App was working great MONTHS ago. Wont update with my balance. Still shows info from last month. Always "connection lost". What did you fellas do with the last update? Whatever it was you "screwed the pooch" is it EVER going to work? Pain in the ___ to call all the time to check a bal when u havent been to the store for a few days. Not even worth the download.
4 ★I updated my app and saw the graphic for the transaction history lists store names next to how much is spent and mine doesn't do that. I have to reload the app every time I spend anything and every time it just says "Food Purchase". It would be *extremely helpful* if it actually said "Walmart", "Stop & Shop" or "Market Basket" when I used my food benefits. I don't get cash so I don't know if that's just a feature for cash use but give the food benefit users that in the spending history please!
1 ★Every time I login it never connects to server even before covid19, really you contact people that have a positive review but won't say a damn thing to people that are having issues. Here it is Mar 11 2021 and still won't work right still not connecting fix this please. Update July 1st 2021, still not working right and know one contacts you back
4 ★This app has been amazing & always on point, up until recently. For over a wk now it keeps saying connection lost & can't connect to my states portal, to try again later. Will someone please fix this?! Everyone seems to be having the same issues so the person who replied saying we need to do troubleshooting is wrong. It's the site that's having the issues/problem not everyone that has the app.
4 ★Lots of impatient folks here. FYI, it's not the app that's causing log in problems folks. New software releases must also filter through your state's SNAP/WIC/other benefit providers in order to become fully functional. Maybe just chillax a bit. @FreshEBThelp - when will the name "Providers" show up here? It still says "FreshEBT" on here, even if clicking the web link to download the "new" app. Thanks in advance!
2 ★I liked this app til it was changed to Provider. There is no reason for me to give my SS#. You dont need my phone number either. I never give out my social on line. And my phone number keeps gettin sold to advertisers. Unless you change this I will no longer use this app!!!
1 ★It was nice while I had it Then I changed phone Motorola Cruise to Samsung A32. That changed stopped the App from Working. Same carrier: Cricket Both phones are Cricket. So I spent - 45 minutes trying to make a new user and pass, All to no avail. It was so handy Now? I have to call it in, no more extra info Oh that's. Right! It's a Government App. There is your answer
3 ★Keeps crashing and force closing. When i try to refresh to check my balance it tells me it cant be updated at the moment bc it cant reach my the state I live in (Kentuckys) database to call the number to check my balance. I have only been able to actually use the app maybe 7x in the almost year I have had it. It was down over a whole month. Not only on my phone but everyone I know that uses it also said theirs also was crashed and not working! Please fix bc its really convenient to have! Thanks
2 ★Everything was fine and I used the app every week. Clicked on the app today and I'm told my EBT number is incorrect. I used it 2 days ago. Not sure if there is something going on or if there was an update that messed things up. I uninstalled and reinstalled but it still doesn't work.
