Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★App works great, shows all the stats and has nice graph views for hourly/day/week/month etc, since the sensor itself stores hourly logs that the app downloads. Takes a few seconds to connect, but always succeeds if the sensor is in range, and if you have multiple sensors, the "sync all" button will connect to them and download the lot. Does require login, would rather it did not, but that's true of most apps these days. The layout might be a bit small in places if you have bad eyesight as well.
1 ★Have been unable to use the app as when I try to register for a plant care account, I get an error saying 'request failed, please check network'. We have tried on my partners phone also with the same result. A friend of mine is having the same issue so most likely a bug in the app. Would love to be able to use the app and be able to give a fair rating.
4 ★Love the app, it is simple and fast. It is a good way to see the plants health. The app seems to lag behind the iPhone version, you can short your sensor per room, which makes it easier to find the right sensor in the list. Also the batteries may not have enough power and therefore not sync anymore, but no warning will be given. It does get updates so now and then, it may be remedied in the future.
1 ★I was a happy user of their flower care sensors(5 of them) until yesterday when their app started to shut down itself. After trying to start it many times II went to Google Play and saw there was an update. Downloaded the update, installed and all my sensors were gone with all my plants history. Seriously, that how you treat your customers by forcing them to start from scratch after update? And why your app was shutting down instead of just saying that update is required.?
3 ★The app is pretty stable, in other words, it looks like there no further development of the existing, rather basic features anymore. Especially, the week and month reports are useless, since they show the maximum value only! The day report, when I look in the morning, is useless as well. Following features I'd love to see: 1. More dynamic graphs and scales, especially, I'd like a line graph over several days with a scale of e.g. one hour. 2. Configurable alarms or notification, e.g.for humidit
1 ★Won't add device any more. Rubbish. Edit: I did manage to get it working again, and it shows readings, but I've just realised that the app hasn't saved historical data for weeks - grrrrrrrrrrr! Edit 2: Now it doesn't work at all. Presumably their servers are down - why do we need to log into a chinese server just to see if our plants need watering - madness! Edit 3: I managed to get it working again, but it would not save readings.. Edit4:After some months, I tried to get it back working again and found there was a new app update. I updated the app and it kept prompting to update the firmware on the sensor, which repeatedly failed, then it stopped working altogether. Dead as a doornail. Was the new firmware designed to kill the device? Utter rubbish.
5 ★Easy to use 1 device and multiple plants, for convenience, and because it worked flawlessly, I eventually got 4 monitors for 4 plants. Recommended for anyone who doesn't get an answer when listening to plants or who's thumbs aren't naturally green. I have never had a plant that lived in my care, now after 3 months the are doing OK and all have new grown. I don't want to jinx them but THEY LIVE....
1 ★Like many others before me, the app and the device worked great initially (in my case, 51 days), but it now refuses to connect to the sensor. I've swapped the battery out for a new one, and reinstalled the app, but all to no avail. It's rubbish if it only lasts this long.
3 ★it's not bad, but now after 3 weeks or so I have issues to download data from the device. also it would be good to see some numbers not just bars in monthly or weekly reports. When I click on it, it takes me to certain date but doesn't show me date cumulative date for that day, which is a shame.
5 ★Everything works as expexted, I'm super happy. Updating the devices is also very easy
5 ★Have multiple plant sensors and although sometimes you have bluetooth connection errors the app usually works well with some patience.
2 ★Takes multiple times to get bluetooth to connect. The app is also missing quite a few of the plants i own and i can't get any other plant aside from one on this device. I will say the info on the one plant is good except the light sensor does work at all... for $30 i would expect multiple plant use and an easy connect. The app really needs to add more plant type data...
