Description
Waste management is one of the major problems that the world faces regardless of the case of developed or developing countries. The main issue in waste management is that public dumpsters are often overflow before the next cleaning process schedule. This causes a variety of dangers such as foul smell, clogging of the drainage due to overflowing of garbage and falling into the river and the root cause for spread of various diseases. In order to avoid all such malicious scenarios and to keep the hygiene and health of the community, this research has installed an IoT-based smart trash tracking and monitoring system on the dumpsters at the riverside. This application offer an IoT-based intelligent monitoring system for garbage clearance by alerting the web server to clean up garbage immediately, based on correct verification through the tools already installed on each TPS. The system can be accessed through the web and also the android application to provide convenience and mobility on the user.
