I always use the random alarm setting, which is GENIUS, so my subconscious never gets used to hearing the same sounds every morning, and so it never learns to hate that sound! I love love LOVE it! 5 ★Hi Mark. I simply LOVE this app! I wish I could give you 10 stars as I love the ease of it but the best part is the beautiful song birds and the many choices, wow! The photos are beautiul, but I'm mostly using this for the realistic bird calls. I have ended up using this throughout our drab winter day, all day. It makes me very Happy! Thank you for this gem. I only thankfully downloaded this because of all of the great reviews. Thank you for all your effort that you have put into this app!
1 ★It used to work like a charm, and all the sounds were so nice to wake up to! But then out of the blue it stopped working, and only when I opened the app and waited a few seconds would it start ringing. This got me late for work - twice 😑 I tried it again on my new phone, and after a week it stopped working too. I woke up with my wrist watch vibrating instead! The vibration is a terrible wake up sound - I wanted the soothing bird chirping...
5 ★I absolutely love this app! It is very simple to set up with the opportunity to choose which bird song you wish to waken to. The surprise comes the first time you set the alarm: first the screen lights up and a photo of a woodland scene slowly emerges, followed by the bird song of your choice. It is magical and a lovely peaceful way to wake up; I have been setting the alarm even when I don't need to just for the pleasure. All the usual features are also there. Thank you so much.
5 ★This is a great app! I love the nature sounds...and there are so many! It's such a great way to wake up! I bought a sunrise alarm which is nice, but the nature sounds on it are horrible...loud and fake, and only 6 options. I now set the sunrise on silent and use this with it. It's really great. Thank you for developing this.
1 ★I love the alarm, but it has stopped letting me use the snooze option. The button simply doesn't respond. And weirdly, the alarm has started interfering with or blocking the sound; I have had the app for 2 days, and both days, after the alarm went off, I no longer got any sound through earbuds. I have to restart the phone. Going to have to delete it, sadly.
5 ★Whomever created this app really put a lot of thought into making it simple, aesthetically pleasing, and provided a lot of audio options. The sounds brought me back home to our house on the lake where the geese flew in and out of each year, where the state bird is the Robin, and where I've visited lovely streams and rivers many times. This was a God-send for me down in Texas. Thank you for just a small slice of home every morning.
5 ★I have never been happy to hear my alarm clock in the morning until I used this app. I actually smiled when the House Finches woke me up the first time I tried it...and believe me, I noticed that I smiled! I have not run into any problems so far, anyway...still new to it...so hopefully there won't be any bugs or any problems that show up, because I love it!
5 ★Just found it, delighted! Had abird alarm on an iPhone and that is the one thing I have missed from that phone the most. I used to wake slowly and lie in bed enjoying listening to the birds singing. 5 ★Omg I LOVE this. Beautiful, clear samples. I love the fact that you can set your alarm to random bird sounds each time the alarm goes off. As some of them seem quiet or almost soothing, I had a worry that they might not actually wake me up, but the first time a goose honked at 5.45am I was very awake. ;) I've already been telling friends about this, and will be recommending to other wildlife lovers. 2 ★This alarm makes absolutely beautiful music!, but it's not possible to turn the volume up enough to actually wake a person up - thus, disappointingly, it's useless as an alarm clock. The gorgeous bird songs are not enough. Having slept through it 2 days in a row I had to go back to my non-melodious, but tried & true, alarm. Sadly I have to delete this alarm clock. 😒
