We welcome all your Enquires. -either by phone or email.
Specializing in Wedding Cakes which is Margaret's specially-- original cakes of Margaret's can be seen on the website both modern and traditional designs plus rustic designs undertaken.
Plus undertaken are: Adult Birthday Cakes, no nude cakes please will be undertaken, 21st Birthdays, Children's Novelty and non Novelty cakes, Christmas, Engagement, Graduation, Baby Showers, Christening & Naming Ceremonies , Corporate ,& Wedding Anniversaries .
We do ask that when ordering your special occasion cake /cakes you give Margaret at least 14 days notice or longer-- Wedding Cakes 4-6 months Notice in advance.
Margaret has only one pair of hands and only can do so much each day.- No cake orders will be undertaken less than this. We are not a cake shop! All takes time.
Each cake is done as ordered, and we do have no cakes already done for those clients expecting a cake when they phone on the day of the celebration. This happens periodically from clients. We do not which to disappoint our clients, so please think ahead to save your disappointment.
We also offer to our local clients in Mosgiel / Dunedin a great range of assorted cake tins why buy when you can hire?? plus over 50 children's novelty tins -a lot these are now not available. -We offer to you a 3 days hire with no bond,-- but your trust and honesty. Margaret is happy to send to you a reply to the website our updated cake tins and images .
We also offer to Local Clients a great range of cake stands from 1 tier to 7 tiers plus a rustic wooden cake stand, has recently been added to the range of stands-- being the only place to locally, so for your weddings or special occasions plus a cake fountain stand and accessories -this only applies to local residents in Mosgiel / Dunedin areas -No out of town clients -- due to the fragile parts etc. as it is no longer available to get the parts for the fountain.
There is a bond on all cake stands and the Cake Fountain. It is your responsibility to look after it while in your care - to be returned straight after the occasion either the next day or the Monday after the occasion. This is your responsibly to return-- not myself to go to the venue and pick up as there may be someone else requiring it for the following week. Be conscious of this while hiring. The Cake Fountain is on the website and all of my cake stands
A wrought iron white 3 part bridal archway is available for hire for your outside wedding or reception. to decorate as you wish. on the website.
We offer to clients 29 cake flavours all to home made recipes and all made from scratch -so you can not get better than this and all fresh ingredients are used for each cake /cakes. We also offer Gluten free & Dairy Free cakes .
We also offer 10 cup cake recipes but these are best made the day before, for freshness.
We offer our services for student 's parents whom that have sons & daughters studying at present at Otago University and Otago Polytechnic. We do charge a small fee for delivery to the hall of residence to Dunedin. This covers petrol and time which is done in my free time.
