Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 β˜…Edit: Hi, could you let me know the full list of films you emulate? It seems I'm missing a few that should be there according to the screenshots. I've been looking for an app to reproduce the feel of old films such as Ektachrome and especially K25 for ever so long and this app really fits the bill. Really, really impressive! However, the effects can only be applied in-camera, I'm really looking forward to an update to be able to apply it to images already existing in my cameras roll. Also, the "integrated editor' is missing. Do that (the ability to edit images - including the ones in the camera roll) I'll rate it TEN ON FIVE! πŸ‘β˜ΊοΈ
2 β˜…Changing my review and stars. Was five, now two. Not being able to use the filters without internet connection is really embarrassingly rubbish.
5 β˜…I love it... But can u make lil improve for Moto Z Play, coz it's so laggy
3 β˜…Like the real emulation names instead of just filter names... but can you add a feature to edit pics I have taken with other apps?
3 β˜…Would be four to five stars but doesn't "remember" what films I have purchased when offline. Needs to be permanent purchase even when offline.
3 β˜…Awesome app! Love it! Please can you enable the app to be moved to the SD card? Will go to 5 stars if you can do this in an update. Thanks!
5 β˜…Very good camera application; easy to use with a wealth of creative options. Ability to change the film type after the event is very nice. A really good thing about using retro processing is that it creatively hides many of the failings of camera phones especially noise (makes it look like grain) and low light operation (use B&W effects). The in-app gallery at the moment is a little basic, but that may be because it is still being developed. Nevertheless, it currently lacks a thumbnail view (so you can only swipe though full size images), and it also shows image that are not editable though Ektachrome for no good reason (better that the were filtered out or the option to do so existed) Biggest downsides at the moment are that it does not allow you to shoot JPEG+RAW and save the RAW separately, and there appears to be an overheating issue caused by the high processing overhead that can cause crash (at least on my phone). Most failings at the moment are minor or likely to change in the future (the author's other camera apps are constantly updated) and I see enough usefulness and future potential to go to the paid version.
4 β˜…Purchase this app, however need to be online in order to used locked film presets. Better if we can use those film preset even offfline...
3 β˜…Oddly buggy, can't lock auto rotate, can't toggle auto fill brightness, lots of noise for photos even when in well lit areas, wish I could edit with other photos. This app has potential.
5 β˜…Great, despite not being able to use all filters unless online.
4 β˜…Really nice film effects, wish you tweak the save location though
4 β˜…Good concept quite well executed, good range of stocks, would be nice to have the option to edit photos from your device though, as that's what I was really after.
