The Air Remote Mobile Tethering App, from Tether Tools, has compatibility with Canon and Nikon cameras and is a free companion software for the Air Direct Wireless Tethering System and the Case Air Wireless Tethering System. 1 ★Trying to connect to OnePlus 5 unsuccessfully. "Connection Error - The connection between Case Air and the software has failed. Please check your network settings." Will return it.

1 ★Seems there is no way to disable the messages when photos are automatically downloaded ("Success Photo saved"). I HAVE TO CLICK A FEW HUNDRED TIMES ON OK AFTER A SHOOTING??!!... Will return the case air. The software in general doesn't seem to be made with the input of pro photographers....

1 ★Doesn't work with nikon d5300. The bulb feature displays an useless error message "Bulb failed." and stops working.

5 ★The app works. You will have to do a series of test shots to learn how to use the settings. But I was pleased with my HDR trials, and now know how to set the camera up (use aperture priority mode to determine optimal exposure for the aperture). Once you have that, turn the camera to manual, set the aperture, and set your shutter speed two to three stops over exposed. Using the App, set the number of exposures you want, and IMPORTANT, set the shutter speed change to -1, -2, or -3 (or +1,2,or3 if you go underexposed). The critical element is set your HDR series either over exposed or under exposed to start, and set the App to move from that point, through proper exposure and to the other extreme. I am pleased with my results so far. I am using the Case Remote Plus unit, and it has minimal lag. Update with the Case Remote Air. For Focus Stacking, I focused on the back of the objects I was shooting in macro, set the stack to +1, and shot nine shots. Five shots were useful, and when stacked gave me a perfect in focus image.

2 ★I feel like I've wasted $80 on this little device. The app refuses to connect to my case air remote even after troubleshooting in every way I can think. I've contacted their support email and still haven't heard back. I want this unit to work because of the possibilities but if it doesn't work, nor do they respond to their customers, I can't recommend it.

2 ★I have submitted comments on the Indiegogo page, I have written messages to them directly, I get no response. There is no histogram or focus peaking in the app settings. I helped fund this project for those settings because my camera doesn't offer them. Now I spent $80 on a time lapse device that I didn't need since I prefer the old plugged in remote method. Would love the opportunity to change this to a positive review if there was an update to the app that grants me access to those settings.

4 ★After making needed upgrades to iPad mini the app and case air remote works well. Very strong WiFi signal, much better results than what I got with the Nikon D750 WiFi and the Nikon WMU app. I'll be using this with my Nikon D3S. Only problem I have with this setup is not being able to view images on camera's LCD screen while connected to case remote but the work arounds are easy.
