1. Easily import photos from the camera to your smartphone
Photos on the camera can be imported via Wi-Fi. You can also simply select photos on the camera to share ahead of time (Share Order Function) to easily and conveniently import photos.
2. Operate the camera from your smartphone
(1) Live View
OLYMPUS Image Share allows you to see the camera's Live View on your smartphone screen. It also lets you operate the camera from your smartphone -- touch your smartphone screen to specify the AF point or release the shutter. You can also adjust camera settings such as shooting mode (iAUTO, P, A, S, M or ART) and drive mode (Single, Burst and Self timer), as well as control the zoom for electronic zoom lenses.
(2) Remote Shutter
In addition, you can choose to control camera settings directly on the camera, and use the smartphone just for releasing the shutter, as if using remote cables. You can "half-press" on your smartphone screen to only focus, and "full-press" to release the shutter.
3. Easy Setup
All you need to do is use OI.Share to scan the QR code displayed on the rear monitor of a compatible camera to easily set up the initial wireless connection settings.

3 ★Working ok now January ...previously had issues but seems ok now. But it does take a few seconds to connect to camera via the wifi. I think you need to spend time learning all its options and how it controls your camera on different settings.
2 ★Need to setup connection again for camera that is already connected. I did not find a way to view photos in full screen. Transfer of photos is very slow.

1 ★Something seems to be up in recent days, lads. The app was working absolutely fine for a number of months (since I've had the E-M10 II), but is freezing and crashing in recent days. Worse still, it seems to be slowing down the phone performance. None of the in-app buttons seem to work any more... very disappointing. What's up? Can't seem to import photos any more to my phone. Please fix ASAP. Thanks
1 ★This app used to work great and now is the worst thing I've ever used. Impossible to get pics off my camera. I wish I could give it negative stars.
3 ★The app needs work to match the great mirrorless cameras Olympus makes. Period. Firstly I was utterly excited by the possibility to download images from a camera via Wi-Fi. But this excitement did not last long. Even if the app lets you download images via Wi-Fi to your camera, the features does not seem to work reliably. 1. It simply hangs when you are trying to download images to a microSD card. This makes you download the images to internal storage first, and then transfer them to the card. Very inconvenient, to say the least. 2. It takes a lot of time for the app to process the thumbnails when you are selecting the images which you would like to download. 3. Selecting images in an old-fashined way by tapping on each and every image instead of just swiping through thoem or selecting the range by date is inefficient. 4. Downloading videos makes the app just close the connection or hang. Therefore, I had to exclude the vids from being even displayed in the app image browser. All the issues make me think that downloading images via USB OTG is a more convenient option at the moment. And I am incredibly sorry to see such a great imaging company having such a mediocre app.
2 ★You should really love your Olympus camera, because this app would not be the reason to buy their camera. I am using the app with my TG-6 and it only works ok. Connecting via WiFi works most of the time, but downloading pictures and videos only works about half the time. I get an error message saying files cannot be downloaded. The other big issue is that the TG-6 records video in 4K, but this program only supports HD 1080. From what I can tell, it downloads the entire 4K file, but then converts the 4K to 1080 within the app. This makes no sense at all.
1 ★* This app is not guaranteed to work on all Smartphone and tablet devices. Or in other words, "we know it doesn't work so don't bother coming to us about it because we ain't going to fix it". Been trying ages to get this to connect, and it did once, for a few minutes, but during that brief moment nothing worked any way. I've reset the wifi settings over and over again but it hasn't connected again since. This is just as bad as the Olympus software for updating camera firmware, which is a nightmare and puts your camera at risk of being bricked because it's so flakey.
1 ★I used to love this app and have used it without incident for at least 3 years with EPL 7. Now, I cannot use it at all because it keeps freezing. It won't recognize my camera and gets stuck on "flash air" with no hope of connecting to my camera's Wi-Fi. Even uninstalling and reinstalling the app will not work because when I set it up to my camera's Wi-Fi, it instructs me to forget a previous WiFi network but then defaults again to flash air and freezes when I try to access the WiFi settings.
1 ★Used to work, doesn't seem to work with Android 10. Huge reason I bought the camera was the ability to import wirelessly and control camera remotely. Needs to be addressed ASAP. Obviously there's a lot of people experiencing something similar. Come on Olympus. Support your customers. Last update six weeks ago and this is clearly ongoing.
3 ★It's okay. Does what I need it to do. However, selecting "WiFi Settings" crashes the app every time.
