Das umfangreiche und hochkarätige Programm mit über 100 verschiedenen Workshops und Vorträge zu aktuellen Themen und Projekten bietet zusätzlich eine Fachausstellung mit etwa 70 Firmen. In der Eröffnungsveranstaltung geben Prof. Christiane Mentrup und Claudia Galli einen „(Ein)-Blick über den Zaun – „Neues“ entdecken in der Schweiz“ zum Thema Akademisierung. Darüber hinaus sind die Poster-Präsentation und die Prämierung der beiden besten Ausarbeitungen ebenso Programmpunkt wie die Mitgliederversammlung des DVE.
Generell bietet sich allen Besuchern die Möglichkeit, sich vor Ort persönlich auszutauschen, sich in Netzwerke einzugliedern oder solche zu begründen. Zudem ist diese Veranstaltung eine gute Gelegenheit für zugelassene Ergotherapeuten, Fortbildungspunkte zu sammeln.
