Description

This app identifies which Fugro correction beams are available at the 'phone's current location. Ensure the 'phone has a good view of the sky.

This tool is intended to help Fugro GNSS correction signal users identify which beams to select in their receivers. The user is responsible for verifying that the receiver is locked-on to the selected beam and that a strong, valid signal is being received.

Warning: At most locations two or more correction beams are available. Favour the ones that are most overhead, but for redundancy, never configure all your receivers to use only one beam.

2 ★Using a Samsung phone in New Zealand the App will not pick up GPS, I have to manually load a position. Some of the writing does not fit in the boxes. Not particularly useful.

5 ★As ex Fugro employee, really love this app.. Can be used even outside the fugro ecosystem. Thanks Fugro!!!

5 ★Cardinals should be displayed on Skyplot. Add option for North Up view in sky plot. Flux compass in phone will not perform well on vessels

3 ★I suggest it accepts a rough network-only location as the initial position instead of 0°. Having to turn on the GPS just for that is not necessary and the rough location would avoid looking up and typing the coordinates. Other than that, it's nice!
