4 ★So far I am enjoying the app. I read Taking Control of your Fertility and was excited when I found out there was an app to complement the new information I had learned. I'm having trouble tracking my cervical fluid. I've looked at other apps (Natural Cycles) that analyze all of your information & tell you if you are fertile in green or are not fertile in red and take all the guesswork completely out of it. As someone new to tracking my cycles I would love to look at the app in a glance and know.
5 ★Great app. I like that it goes along with the book. My only complaint is some of the interface elements are clunky for the User. Such as buttons in an odd order with Clear being the largest oppose to Save. Consider the primary goal the user should accomplish in any area and make those actions more predominant. Other than that love it.
4 ★I really love my experience so far. It's easy to use and when paired with the book, taking control of your fertility, I've been golden. Options to enter both temp, cervical mucus and cervical positioning data. No distracting digital frills, this app is specifically data based. I wish it broke down hormonal changes through out a cycle, had more options for tracking menstral pain symptoms, mood and whether pills like plan b were used during a cycle.
1 ★Android version doesn't sync and hasn't for a year. Keeps saying "Login Failed, we tried to log you in and something went wrong, check that you are online and try again." and "You are currently in offline mode. You can edit/add cycle day information in this mode but you will need to reconnect before you can view your charts. Tap here to reconnect now." Tapping takes you back to "Login Failed...."
2 ★I used to love this app, but it's getting so frustrating! ever since they "fixed" the time on the bbt, it won't upload or save the other buttons. normally I wouldn't mind, but it's very hard to look for trends when they're not recorded. it's enough to make me want to go to charting on paper
4 ★I am glad this app exists! I like that I do not need to chart on paper. I wish it automatically saves inputs, as when I am putting my temperature in the morning I sometimes forget to scroll to the bottom to click save. Sometimes I can't see my current chart on this app because it just does not load.
4 ★This is a fairly intuitive app to use and works perfectly with FAM tracking method described in Taking Charge of Your Fertility book by Toni Weschler. I love that this app is free and the tiny amount of ads are not annoying (only once per month when starting a new cycle). I have experienced some glitches with app freezing and duplicate data resolution errors but freezes seem to have improved in last month. Other suggestion for future improvement is a row to track protected sex for birth control.
4 ★Fantastic way to chart cycles based on the Fertility Awareness Method detailed I'm Taking Charge of Your Fertility. It's not super pretty, and has a TON of options for data to enter. I'd much prefer a simpler interface for daily entry with just the three primary signs, but it certainly does the job and creates easy to read charts.
1 ★This app is the worst app I've ever dealt with. The online support in the forums is GREAT. But the app is terrible. It is either extremely slow or just doesnt work, all of the time. I have to go to the website and enter the data from there.When the app does let me enter my data,it doesnt save it. If it does save it it doesnt update my data,I have to go to the website to view my chart and data. The app is pointless,might as just use the website, you'll be spending most of your time there anyway.
3 ★My first fam track app was OVY( simultaneously using it to the ovagraph). I like that the app is very detailed and you can add a lot of different points. It's also very customised. Unfortunately the user interface is very glitchy. I get logged out even if I'm online. Everytime I want to read a thread and go back afterwards I end up on the home screen instead of the community. Also it seems to be all about TTC and there is nothing about birth control. 🤔 Maybe the online version is better.
4 ★Having read the book that goes with this app i really like this app. I let you log much more information about you cycle day to day unlike some of the others. I would be much better if it allowed you to select whether you are or are not trying to get pregnant to make it more relevant for the user. Can be a little clunky using the dial to save temp and time, this could be improved.
5 ★I have used the FAM for many years while planning my family. I love having my chart right on my phone to update the data so easily! I take screen shots of my charts before starting the next cycle tho because I haven't figured out if there is a way to view past ones. All the info corresponds to everything I used to do paper pencil and learned from the book, ...but now I don't have to make sure I have a blank copy ready to go!
