This Dua' was not sent to the earlier Ummah's but it has been sent to your Ummah so that this can be a means of forgiveness [maghfirah] for this Ummah. A person who recites or keeps this Dua with him will live a good life in this world and he will die with Imaan[ true faith] On the Day of Judgement his face will shine like the full moon of the fourteenth night. When the other people see this person on the Day of Judgement they will think he is a Prophet or Wali [friend] of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. They will be told that this person is one of the Ummati of Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam and that this distinction has been given to him by virtue of his having recited Dua' Noor.
