Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Everything I need is in this app. It keeps me in the loop with news and updates about software.
5 ★So far getting daily dose of updated news. Thanks!
2 ★Has various posts unrelated to Open Source Software
1 ★This app was good, but now it is full or very loud, very annoying ads.
1 ★This is a closed source app that is full of advertising and spyware, leeching off of the open source community. Don't support this trash.
2 ★While app is great, please check what ads you show. almost all ads are scantily clad women from ads of tiktok and similar apps. not something one would expect from technology news app.
5 ★Best
1 ★NO EXT SD SUPPORT, AND PROMOTES FACEBOOK, G+, AND PROMOTES SOCIALISTAGENDA. HOWEVER, IT DOES COMPILE SOME IMPORTANT TOPICS THAT UNFORTUNATELY,THE APP BETRAYS BY PROMOTING TYRANNY. ALSO THE ADDS CAN'T BE REMOVED EVENWITH THE ADD REMOVAL FEATURE IT JUST FREEZES WITH A BUFFER ICON.
2 ★App use to be 5 stars and worked great. The latest version v3.942 is using WAY to much CPU usage... constantly at 55 - 85% usage while the main app is open (Widget is fine). Once I close and swipe away this app, the CPU usage drops to 2-8%. This app causes my phone to get quite hot +75°C. Devs need to fix this ridiculous bug. Phone is a Huawei using default OEM OS Android v7.1.2 -not rooted. I am now looking on GPlay for a replacement for this app. Note1: Your Cyber Security News app has the same CPU high utilization issue as well. Note2: Not going to purchase the ad-free version until the high CPU utilization issue is fixed.
3 ★but after reinstalling on my Device and sign in to my account it recognised all my score but "Read later list is empty!!! " please help i want them back.
